For people using this service for off-site backups, how have you configured your setup?
Are you referring to the DirectAdmin StorageBox service (no aff) of Hostbrr? This thread is mostly about their shared hosting for webhosting (less storage, but faster NVME, but it does use cPanel or DirectAdmin, so it uses DirectAdmin, but AFAIK they are different servers.)
For Storageboxes, you can use popular backup/dedup tools like Borg Backup, Restic, Kopia, or similar. Otherwise have some client side encryption and use Rsync to back it up to the storage box, ideally with some level of deduplication to save space server side. All via non-root SSH or SFTP.
Reseller directadmin Germany backups from reseller console do not work and jetbackup has not been running for more than a month. High priority tickets not being answered. Can we get some support here?
Jetbackup has yet to release a patch that resolves their issue with rsync. It has been pending for 2+ months. Their suggested fixes has not helped.
I am working on an alternative.

@labze The cpguard on your Singapore DirectAdmin server is really frustrating; we’ve tried submitting support tickets, but none of them are getting a reply.
