@WyvernCo said: No, you're wrong. Posting on-topic criticism in a community discussion board is not harassment, no matter how you try to frame it. Sorry, you're not entitled to a criticism-free environment, and you don't get to falsely claim "harassment" because people remember your misdeeds and post a warning about you when relevant.

Oh dear, I do get criticism, yet criticism is not sending out mails to 3'rd party suppliers of a provider. For that you need intent, and that if not justified falls under harassment.

Did you send out mails to your utility suppliers because they are asholes? or to the international court because your gov is an ashore? - se my point?

criticism is a bad review on a forum/media channel, you have that option, you can even open one each day, heck, you can open a criticism thread dedicated to one provider alone and have your way there.

I even indulge such things, so feel free to explore that option and let the folks reading that thread make up their mind.

Taking action above that is a direct engagement, and that is played on a whole nother level, and there rules are different then on a forum.

  • @forest said: I'm over it, he doesn't have to apologize to me. I'm more bothered by the realization that he tried to dox Wyvern.

At some point I wish for jar to apologize, but it might be hard for him to do so especially given what he has done. Its definitely tough for jar but my comment just wanted to say that MXRoute might genuinely die if this continues on happening without any response from jar. He needs to put aside his ego and solve the issue rather than botting some comemnts on the reddit thread or similar and apologize genuinely to wyvern and just try to have a good discussion between the two even with the history, but if both treat the other as human I feel like some point of mutual agreement/hope can occur.

Ultimately its up in the hands of jar, if he wants to reach an amicable agreement, I feel like he can and if he doesn't, then I suppose that's that but I just wanted to reflect that he still can just try his best but even this last moment of him is slipping by as he continues on being the same way.

As an outsider its sad to see all of this because I liked MXRoute and it was MXRoute that I knew before I knew about Lowendtalk. I don't wish for jar to lose all the sweat and tears of his product for this brutal end but I feel like its inevitable until he does something genuine about it. I just wish if he can reflect on all of this and just think about what went wrong and what he can do better.

Nothing of value lost, lol. Just a guy with autism and social incompetence beyond measuring. He is passive aggressively shit talking everyone he does not like. Full on "did you just assume my gender" style rage if your oppinion does not match his god given wisdom. If you dare to criticise his "company" he goes full Hitler mode and tries to suppress everything / censor you.

Crazy twist to the drama if he got fired for this and jar forgives him and hires him

You have the sequence of events wrong. The criticism happened before:

    1. Jar was criticized
    2. Jar created an attack sale in revenge
    3. Wyvern reported the sale to LET to try to get the insult taken down
    4. When nothing was done, Wyvern reported the ToS breach to Hetzner
    5. Jar doxed Wyvern and tried to get him fired

That's all. But you're painting it as if Wyvern criticized jar and then tried to deplatform him when he didn't heed his criticism.

THIS! If someone wants to hire me, I am open for hire for PR

Only costs just a few bilohbucks and some french fries! /jk

(Also if any provider is using this, please for everything that is holy, do not use AI for PR, as that is the worst PR that you can get, might as well stay silent rather than using AI.)

If my utility company starts using my name to sell services without permission at the same time as insulting me, yes, I would probably file complaints with the government regulator and they'd probably actually do something about that because that would be crazy.

Jar crossed the line when he tried to monetize this whole situation against my express wishes. I don't see why you think an attack sale was acceptable, but it raises questions about your judgement.

or to the international court because your gov is an ashore? - se my point?

It should be obvious that I am exactly the kind of too-much-time person who calls my elected officials about things :P

@jar said: Because reading is hard.

@jar said: what the hell are YOU on?

@jar said: I was wrong to expect that you actually read the whole thread

@jar said: now you want to follow me around like pets and derail other threads because you’re butt hurt

@jar said: You people are clinically insane.

@jar said: I’ve seen some mental breakdowns on LET but you two, you might be the worst I’ve seen

@jar said: I'd say "do better" but you've more than shown that isn't on the table for you.

@jar said: They really need to start teaching how to have healthy disagreements with people in school.

@jar said: Stop being a drama queen.

@jar said: Now please get off the cross, we need the wood.

    @jar said: Ridiculous. Do better.

@jar said: It's like talking to a toddler

Would anyone sane take this as fun/meme? And this was before, mind you, anyone but him threw out insults.

On that note, I would like you to start reading his post history. It doesn't look like he was the man who you confront months ago
    https://lowendtalk.com/profile/comments/jar?page=p200

Woww, something difficult must have happened in his life to make him so bitter. He really changed.

By page 100, it feels like more corpo/legal speak and the casual talk shift towards certain direction
    https://lowendtalk.com/profile/comments/jar?page=p100
This is where the notice become more noticeable
    https://lowendtalk.com/profile/comments/jar?page=p50
Oh well, you see how he has changed, his personality, his writing style, etc
    https://lowendtalk.com/profile/comments/jar?page=p25
Considering his comment on top tech CEO, I think that's another factor why he sounds irritable

Nah I am from India my friend.

In hindi it is, "(bhai) Jo ho gya, ho gya, ab aage ki dekho"

"(Brother) Whatever happened, happened, now lets think about the future"

We also have another saying, "Jo hota hai acche ke liye hota hai" ie. "Everything that happens, happens for good", so perhaps it can be applicable here too if MXRoute tries to learn from all of this and tries to genuinely improve themselves learning from all of this controversy.

@whynotlearn said: I feel like some point of mutual agreement/hope can occur

I could probably come up with a list of things I'd like to see if Jar is genuinely interested in fixing the problematic behavior myself and other community members have flagged. Off the top of my head, and including already some good community suggestions from others:

    1. Donating the proceeds of the attack sale to a charity of my choice
    2. Making a public apology to myself and forest
    3. Creating a privacy policy that meets the concerns some people expressed
    4. Obeying GDPR
    5. Taking down every retaliatory review from any company he's not an actual customer of and promising not to make any more illegitimate reviews
    6. Create a formal policy/process for customers to export their inboxes when their accounts are terminated
    7. Refund any double billings and fix his support system so messages with word "refund" doesn't get autoclosed / clearly allow refunds in certain situation in posted policy
    8. Apologize to the company he thinks I work for about trying to get me fired and make it clear he's dropping the issue to them / apologize to the person he thinks I am that he's been trying to get fired
    9. Apologize to LET admins / community for trying to influence the forum to take down criticism

There might be others, but the point is that there are things Jar COULD do if he wanted to try to fix the situation and restore community faith in him.

  • barbarosbarbaros Member

I start to believe Jar is getting support from some people here just because they have great deal from MXRoute for long time.

So his brand/product is acting as shield for him.

If he was some average LET host (instead of email delivery business) he would got impaled already.

Oh absolutely. Even a hint that a random host behaved like this would lead to them being obliterated. Meanwhile, we have people here literally equating criticizing jar on LET to inflicting violence on him and defending doxing because there isn't enough hard evidence that it completely meets the legal definition of doxing.
