For a time, we paid to be listed there as a provider. During that period, two individuals made it their habit to follow our representatives into every thread and repeat the same false claims about MXroute. Repeated requests to the site's administration produced no action
I was warned to laugh in a religious topic on off topic forum how they did to miss it.

Woww, something difficult must have happened in his life to make him so bitter. He really changed.
It is far from victim shaming, it is about how you handle things.
for me it is not about jar, it might as well been any provider. It is about how you engage with others.
Almost no one debated the fact that Jar is aggressive in some ways, some don't like that ok, fine by me and perfectly normal, yet you have the option to just don't buy services from him and there we stop, as what followed by you and your actions was "harassment" to prove how bad it can get, and at some point it escalated to shit-show. Now jar also could have backed down and leave a kid do it's thing, why he wished to continue is up to him to deal with.
Now, we can take top 20 nice providers from here, and if we start poking them enough, most will reply back or counter attack. If you wished to prove that then you did succeed.
In that case, this was a premeditated and coordinated effort, and that bears the tag of insult - was this the case?
If a provider is an as-hole, leave it be, he will leave / dye on it's own as the community will not take him into consideration. If you wish to point out aggressively this because you personally don't like it and engage, well, the you are harassing that provider, and that is what you actually did, regardless that you were right or not. Again, the way you handled this is the issue, not with who you did it with.
That makes you worse that what you wished to achieve. The goal does not justify the means how you do it. - you should learn that.
Are you aware of what the criticism was and how it was handled? Because jar immediately flew off the rails when the criticism was quite mild. And this isn't just Wyvern's opinion. A lot of people have been saying that jar behaves exactly like this. When you start to get a reputation for being vindictive and hotheaded, you lose a lot of the benefit of the doubt.
Preciseley why one should be a bit more calm even if what you read will make you want to burn down the planet.
I am not saying we all should hold hands and sing, far from it, but a bit of patience will go a long way in most cases.
Oh I agree. That's why I backed down even though my own name was insulted as well.
But I also am not one to judge how Wyvern perceives someone profiting off of insulting him, and all he did was try to get the insult removed, not attack jar personally, unless there is some major information I'm missing.
No, you're wrong. Posting on-topic criticism in a community discussion board is not harassment, no matter how you try to frame it. Sorry, you're not entitled to a criticism-free environment, and you don't get to falsely claim "harassment" because people remember your misdeeds and post a warning about you when relevant.
If @jar is lurking here/reading this as someone suggested, I wish to say a few words to him.
Jar, You were and I suppose still are passionate about servers and nobody questions your service. It's that you went too far with this for too long and you are still continuing to do so. I wish if you could better reflect on this.
We have a saying where I live that whatever happened, happened. You can't change the past. Words have some strong power which can make or break companies and the thing is that you and MXRoute are so completely intertwined.
I feel like a lot of this could've even stopped with the three magical words "I am sorry."
Jar you are a human, and you can make mistakes and that's okay but its the repeated insistence on not addressing them and attacking back which was the MAIN concern and I think still is.
I don't wish for this drama to continue in the sense that we have all basically discussed everything in these 500 comments. Its all back-and-forth now.
You can of course try to shift the blame towards Wyvern and you would be in complete right to do so but if you accept that some blame was of yourself as well, then the best part is that if its in your blame, then its in you game! that is, you can fix some of these things.
Nobody has ever questioned your service my friend, but its these things which we question which are make-or-break especially in E-mail industry.
I hope MXRoute genuinely learns something from all of this and doesn't die. I feel like if everything continues happening as it is, the trust is fundamentally eroded until otherwise jar does something. I wish if he can just take his time and just reflect on all of this peacefully, surrounded by his family and think of the legacy he wishes to leave on the world as we are all gonna die sooner rather than later.
I wish @jar to have a nice day and to gently cool off as this might be the last chance that you are quickly slipping by if you continue acting in the same way and don't bring this conflict to end. Nobody has anything to lose except you my friend and in the end its up to you to decide how much these things are worth. I know you must have put your sweat and tears into making MXRoute what it is now, Business is definitely hard to do, but I hope that you can reflect on your journey.
You have two decisions ahead of you and these two roads diverge in yellow wood. I recommend reading the poem road not taken and just I hope that you don't regret in future the road/decision that you hadn't taken which you could've but then the timing has gone away.
(I personally recommend to genuinely humanly apologize to wyvern and forest and try to make what is right, apologies dont make you smaller, The best way to have the last word is to apologize.)

The fact that we have drama like this regularely with different providers shows how important it is to let PR people handle public interaction and not do so as a CEO whenever you get to a point where you can afford this
