Just went through Jarland's all reviews. first time in my life I have read such trustpilot reviews from a Provider on his individual/business customers' trustpilot pages.

suppose I am a small business, buys email plan from MxRoute. Send some spam or just voilation of T&C. Jar sees it. Closes my account. Goes to Trustpilot, find my business name or my employer's name. Write a one star/bad review about how I spammed his service or voilated T&C.

    such a mean minded person.

Tomorrow I buy email from AWS/Godaddy/IONOS, spams it, get my account closed. I don't expect AWS/Godaddy/IONOS CEO or Owner/Chairman hunting down my business on trustpilot and write a review how I spammed their system. It's not meaningful. It's useless and even unjustificable.

It's better Jar and MxRoute kicked themselves out from LET. I think such personality and companies should kick themselves off from doing business altogether.

that says a lot about you, especially your mindset, and one could even draw conclusions (a bit of a stretch,iI know) about your behavior. i would never entrust my emails to left-wing terrorist groups either.

You really hate the left huh?

For the record, I'm neither left nor right. I'm a civil libertarian.

A/I (Autistici/Inventati, pronounced [au’tistiʧi]-[iŋ’vɛntati], or [iŋvɛn’tati]) was born in 2001 from an encounter of individuals and collectives of the autonomous anticapitalist movement interested in technology and active in the digital rights struggle. We believe that this world is far from being the best world possible. We react by providing a platform and tools for digital self-defense addressing the need of free communication for activists and other individuals.

This is a terrorist group? Anticapitalism is terrorism now?

But I get it. You hate free speech, privacy, and anonymity, and you hate groups that are opposed to large nanny state governments. It almost sounds like you align with the institutional left, doesn't it?

I think the low was a provider doxing someone and trying to get them fired.

Isn’t doxing is all about publication of private data to mock and slander?

He hunted down alleged bad person and tried to inflict damage. It is more like persecution, not doxing by the book. Not to minify the psycho episode, but it is not doxing.

Is there anything we can do more, besides those two going to court to settle?

I think tracking down someone and figuring out who is behind their alias and then publishing their information in revenge for reporting them for a ToS violation is doxing. Even if it's not legally doxing, it's close enough that that's a useful word to use.

@Levi said: Is there anything we can do more, besides those two going to court to settle?

I don't know. They definitely won't go to court, although jar has been hinting that he "should" (knowing that he absolutely has more financial resources). Most likely this will only end when one of the two decide to end it.

IDK OP will approach court. He might once again send takedown notice to Hetzner.

I haven't read Hetzner's ToS so I just assume that harassment is against it, but if it is, isn't that a legitimate action?

WyvernCo made the mistake of using the wrong legal argument by saying it was a trademark infringement when he could have just pointed to the ToS, but I don't think that really changes anything.

That would increase the chance of Hetzner taking action, since it's not probable case of trademark infringement. But something within their jurisdiction, ToS violation.

How does a meme get you a severe warning?
Yet there are users who post in bad faith, constantly flame and they get away with it.

Somebody please explain the standards here lol.

oles liked hetzner, i think he got a special deal or something for his free vps project, and so he wanted to be their knight in shining armor and used his moderation power to warn me for posting a meme about hetzner

Can you post that meme again, now that he is no longer in a position to warn anyone?
