@emgh said: how could you send a signed affidavit without signing it? or is it lies that it was a signed affidavit

Is he actually claiming there's a signed affidavit? I don't remember anything like that.

It is way simpler than that, Hetzner TOS says you can't use their network for "defamatory content, insults or disparagement of persons or groups of persons." His sale title definitely met the bar for insults, and I would also say it met the bar for defamatory/disparagement.

Even more than that, using someone else's name in your product name without authorization is something most providers won't support or enable. He played stupid games and won stupid prize (one hour of downtime). It could have gone MUCH worse for him, though. He could have gotten his entire paypal permanently shut down over that stunt (they told me they couldn't remove just the sale product, and if I wanted to continue the complaint it may result in him getting a permanent ban from paypal -- I ended up not pushing farther since I thought that would have been too extreme.)

This could be related to what @jar is claiming here:

"I wont respond in LET because people skip facts". Oh man.. xD

disturbing to see he is still trying to justify all this, and thinking he "only lost $15 of business" over this. people are rightfully concerned about entrusting private data with jar over this

I hope mxroute was a hobby project for him, cause he flushed half of his reputation down into toilet. His trustpilot review makes him look too psycho for me to ever trust his service, but maybe thats just me alone.

As for his LES posts, maybe its justified, maybe not. Its indeed a broken phone game ongoing here lol

    what do you mean

How does a meme get you a severe warning?
Yet there are users who post in bad faith, constantly flame and they get away with it.

Somebody please explain the standards here lol.

oles liked hetzner, i think he got a special deal or something for his free vps project, and so he wanted to be their knight in shining armor and used his moderation power to warn me for posting a meme about hetzner

Tapping up Katie for them deals

To be honest, Hetzner (Katie) is overall really sweet gal/person, One of the most based comments I read of her was about how she gifted her dad something star wars related on christmas with the "may the force be with you" darth vader.

Not even sure why I remember this but I do and I think it was pretty wholesome xD, personally I think that she might take the memes in good spirit tbh.

But a quick FYI to my friends here:

Finding a person is not the definition of doxxing.
How would I use privileged information to find someone who isn’t a customer? He literally made his username match his business registration. The fact that a thread can be 11+ pages into accusing me of this and no one has found such an easy Google result proves my point about the average intelligence.
Tortious interference in my business through illegal and fake legal claims, warrants a warning shot. Disagree all you want on how I fired the warning shot, in my mind I was kind to not report him to his local police.
That can’t be said over there because once something has been said there, it is fact and all counter facts are to be ignored by the angry mob. And that’s why I’m happy to be here. You guys are the ones I miss.

Personally been using 7$/yr vps with a chill guy provider who supports mail. I am thinking of using for outbound something like amazon ses or something like scaleway's ses or that UK company which matched amazon ses I forgot its name but it was chill too.

I trust my 7$/yr vps guy more than MXRoute/jar at this point.

Response to this thread. I just asked him if he think there's a chance he's got the wrong guy or no.

I honestly just find this whole thing dumb but if there's a chance someone that isn't related is taking the hit I find that kind of sad.

That said I don't know if jar got the wrong guy or not. @WyvernCo said he did but that's not proof obviously.

@TNAHosting , the guy is chill af, I had accidentally messed up a payment to them as well when I had sent them money after the invoice 15 min had expired (something similar but not similar to my pulsedmedia situation but this isn't about that and lets not make it about that, my friend) and within just 2 hours that one-person shop responded and gave me my servers and then when I asked the next day to open up a port, they answered to my query within 2 minutes (I am not kidding)

Their 7$ deal is a bit constrained at 512mb ram though but I find it wholesome and I am running a minimalist golang mail server on them

I am just impressed by them but I wish to gatekeep them because they are really cool xD.

Obviously I was a bit panicked within that 2 hours too when my payment was stuck-ish but man, It really gave me so much breeze talking to a human and they fixed the problem really quickly (in my opinion, as fast as they can/could) as they were their own payment provider running the bitcoin payment processing themselves

TLDR: Chill guy @TNAHosting appreciation post :-) Overall one of the best things I have bought. I wish they can expand to storage boxes actually but dedirock is also a good provider for storage and atleast their human support even within just saying hi to them on LET is pretty chill.

Can't know for sure, but he has been known to stretch the truth quite a bit in past. Like in his retaliatory reviews, where he equates leaving a bad review of MXRoute on Trustpilot to "attempted to utterly destroy our business."

That being said, I just found something far more interesting...

Apparently MXRoute tried to get me FIRED:

I know he's infamous for his retaliatory reviews, but this is crazy 🤣
