A Notice Regarding LowEndTalk
MXroute no longer seeks or welcomes traffic from lowendtalk.com.
For a time, we paid to be listed there as a provider. During that period, two individuals made it their habit to follow our representatives into every thread and repeat the same false claims about MXroute. Repeated requests to the site's administration produced no action. We concluded that continued participation was not serving our customers or our team, and that the community had not been maintained as a place where a provider can engage in good faith.
We have ended our listing and stepped away from that site. If you found us through LowEndTalk, we appreciate your curiosity — but we are not seeking your business on the strength of that referral. We'd rather you make your decision based on our own site, our own words, and the experience of customers who came to us directly.

People never seem to be able to have a disagreement without taking it to stupid proportions, on either side, around here, imo.
Jar got a little over upset and made some interesting choices, but forest and wyvern also pretty much just continually poked the dude until he hit his breaking point. Sometimes the internet sucks all around.
from what i learned here, the only bad story i heard about them is they kicked out ALL customers ( include innocent customers ) from certain reseller because some bad customers abuse their IP

I haven't had a negative interaction with Wyvern, however Forest is someone I find to be disingenous.
Me. Jar said he was proud of the fact that he banned someone for (among other, more legitimate reasons) a bad review, and I said that was a terrible business practice. We started arguing. I got pinged in another thread and responded. Then I got pinged in his revenge-sale thread and responded to that too. That's all. I never joined a thread uninvited.
I didn't even know he was still mad. I haven't even talked to him since he rage quit.
I haven't talked to him since. I actually have nothing against the guy. If this is actually still bothering him, I feel kinda bad.
When faced with criticism, if a provider resorts to name calling and revenge flash sales to bury said criticism, then it doesn't matter how good the product is, its not worth dealing with the petty flippant behaviour of the person representing the brand.
Even if the brand received bad faith negative reviews, there are ways to handle it professionally and let the community decide if the review contains honest criticism or if its a malicious attempt to derail the brand. There are many excellent providers continue to deal with such issues every week professionally.
By personally attacking long standing community members, offering flash sales with unethical discount codes targeting those community members, then turning your back on the community which carried the brand through majority of its growth. It shows how little regard the provider has for its customers who aren't just an open wallet.
Communities like LET exist for honest feedback and criticism so buyers in the market can make an informed decision. If a provider cannot handle it, then they are doing us all a favour by removing themselves from the disourse entirely.

I feel kinda shitty since I really thought he was just the kind of person who was just trying to argue back. I never followed him, never insulted him or his business, only saying that it's a scummy thing to do to terminate someone over (among other things) a bad review.
I wish I could make it up to him somehow. I didn't mean to cause him any stress.

From a business perspective. A business does not need to advertise here, offer deals specific to LET, participate in the community or even reply to anyone here. I think jar will do just fine without LET.
However from a community perspective. We just lost someone who has been around for 14 years, provided excellent deals, community and was actually a rather good laugh. As a customer(tiny usage however I am now ramping up things), this place has some pretty awful people. As a forum user, I think there is far too much leeway.
I still think this is a disingenuous response, as with most of your comments. The only one good comment from you was you explaining something to me in another thread and I thanked you for that. Your impression from the VeloxMedia thread(which is where I believe I first saw you) was that you were naive, insincere and holding onto something that was dead. Despite me telling you so a few times and everyone else preaching it.
I am sure you do a lot of good elsewhere, however your comments are not a reflection of that.
To me you have 0 credibility. So I apologize ahead of time if my responses to you are more frozen than the north pole. You also have no way of proving it either.
That was me trying not to piss off Eric when I was very, very new to the forum, which is probably why it was the first place you saw me. I was being cautious being dropped into drama head-first on a new site (although I've lurked before, I never participated). I supposed my approach worked, because my VeloxMedia VPS is still running... for now at least.
I don't know why you think there's anything wrong with my responses and I genuinely wish I never gave you that impression. I generally try to be impartial, although I feel strongly about anything that I consider to be a violation of privacy.

Let is considered the bottom of bottoms. Slums. Here is insane people, jealous, toxic, sociopaths. When you run business which feeds your family - it is better to avoid such places. Jar is not the first bailing let, there is a shit ton of providers no longer residing here, a good providers.

It is wild that Jar is still upset about this, when he basically already won that fight by getting the criticism thread closed.
If Jar wants criticism-free advertising, the venue for that is banner ads. Threads on a forum are intended for discussion, and some of that discussion is inevitably going to be what people like and dislike about the vendor.
Any way you want to slice it, Jar was engaging in negative business behaviors. Vendors should not be leaving retaliatory reviews of customer businesses, violating GDPR, surprise deletion of customer inboxes with no export, refusing to refund for billing errors, terminating accounts for bad reviews, etc. (citations)
It is fair for us to make criticisms of these behaviors in the relevant places. Doing so deters bad behavior, and may ultimately lead to Jar conducting his business more professionally and result in a better and more profitable business. This is my goal -- for potential customers to be aware of potential pitfalls, and for Jar to work towards improving his business practices.
Clearly not true since the thread was locked, but it seems he's unhappy since we didn't get banned or thread deleted? The LET community should be wary of Jar's repeated attempts to influence the site admins to delete/ban for criticism. This is really dangerous. We do not want LET to be a place where a vendor can muscle their way into silencing negative feedback. (I don't think the admins would do that, but we should also be wary of vendors who try)
