Would you say your vps was not fine?
Are you not grateful that the free service Eric is providing works 98% of the time?
Ha we paid for a full service not half a service!
I've been watching the thread.
Your welcome to PM me with anything you'd like to chat about. I am always around.
May I ask this sensitive question? Does @coinmunch is directly or indirectly affiliated with Eric/Lewis?
According to Eric, you paid Lewis and Lewis ran away. Eric is just hosting you for free because he's a good guy.
Wait I've missed this why has he signed up to the ICO in the UK?
to be ico-nic?
I will show myself out
oh my god, so the so called data protection officer (Eric), deleted my ticket about a request to delete my account/login, after requesting it as a european citizen.
I can still sign in and still see my data. This will be the fastest report to authorities in my life.
You should have addressed it to Lewis
Don't know in what country you are, but here in The Netherlands rules are that data, when asked to be removed after being made aware of a company takeover that you are not a customer, must have been removed at max 30 days after the moment that they came in the posession of the data. So there is still a number of hours left to be compliant to that.
However, if there are a large number of people requesting it 5 minutes before that deadline, they'll have a hell of a job to be compliant in time... (Does that sound as a hint? wink wink)
You think they are still processing it after deleting the ticket with no answer? xD
So, after reaching out on discord and a few back and forths with Eric, he finally deleted my data. What a shame it didn't go like this on the first try. Dunno why everything has to be escalated.
It's a new technology. Heartbeat monitoring by veloxmedia Ai tm.
The one and only who can help here @emgh
It reminds me of this fake glasses a mustache attached
Maybe lewric watched too much CSI/power rangers
IT'S MORPHING TIME

I take bribes
Oh , damnit!
sorry... I'm a sucker for this kind of humour!
I still haven't received any Velox emails for cancelling a 30GB RAM server. IPv6 network is fucked, but IPv4 gets 1.2Gbps both ways.
Does it have "LET" in the name of the plan?
As for IPv6, I find that often it's something you can solve locally, even if there's a misconfiguration on the host (e.g. DAD errors).
OK, good for you. Anyway, to answer your last question ("why everything has to be escalated") from my point of view you've already mentioned his name just above.
I wonder how can one ask for data deletion or escalate it, when their client area is down?
Send email at
[email protected]Or when you are banned and no replies to my emails
It's still down. Requesting new discord dump @Saragoldfarb
E-mail. The address is listed in the privacy policy.
They have 30 days to action and reply to your SAR request or deletion request.
AFAIK: Unless they have been acting without legal consent or need to have the data - then the 30 days starting at the moment they got the data.
That makes a difference in this case because they've operated for almost 30 days without.
Yeah, good point. Sorry, was thinking about an actual deletion request where they already had a legitimate reason to hold the data.
Without ever having had your consent to have the data at all, it has to be deleted within 30 days of them receiving it.
