Yah, I have seen Indian dishes made of the green bananas, while the yellow ones are usually eaten raw or made sweet snacks out of, in some states. As for ripening them, in some parts of India, esp. the southern states, I have seen them just hung vertically, they usually just ripen within a short period. Hard disagree. My cat did that once and the bugger managed to escape and hide behind the fridge and I never managed to retrieve him. I assume the cat did catch him again at some point, but it was pretty annoying.

My cat also once brought in a pigeon, but at least that was dead by the time I'd woken up. Still a real pain in the ass cleaning up all the feathers.

The mouse would probably have had a heart attack and died behind the fridge and the cat would probably have scratched me to bits.

I do remember coming downstairs once because of some noise and finding there was cat shit all over the floor in the kitchen, so I stuck my cat's nose it in, gave her the light tap that's not a slap but enough that she knows it was bad, put her outside and locked the catflap. When I came down in the morning and let her in she was acting really strange and discovered there was an enemy cat hiding under one of the cupboards.

I felt really bad about telling off my cat and the only way I could encourage the enemy cat out from under the cupboard was squirting it with water. Never seen something run so fast. Actually broke my cat flap on the way out, so as well as cleaning up all that shit, I also had to buy a new cat flap. But at least the enemy cat seem to have been terrified enough that I never saw it back again.

Nah, the cat died about 5 years ago. But she was pretty old, maybe 12 or 13 years old.

Minne is 23.... I mean... Whatever animal I get, they always get wayyyy to old.

Wow, that is a good age for a cat. Well, maybe not a good age as everything will be going wrong, but very impressive. I think the average lifespan for a cat is around 10 years old but mostly so low because most die by being run over...
