It’s normal for the VPS/VDS to display the base frequency. This is because, in virtualized systems, the actual dynamic frequency cannot be read correctly, only the standard frequency is shown, even if the processor is running at much higher speeds.
In reality, we optimize these CPUs for sustained high-frequency performance, so they operate stably at speeds far beyond 1.80GHz.
Even under heavy loads, we guarantee significantly higher performance than the base clock suggests.
This is a "cosmetic" limitation of virtualization, it doesn’t reflect the true power available to you.
Got a moment to look into it pls? 👀
Answered!
I tried ubuntu and it worked fine, so I installed 2022 server from ISO and it works fine. Their template is hosed. It runs surprisingly well on the two cores, and I plan to use as a testing desktop interface anyway.
Nice! Custom ISO or the one from microsoft?
The one from Microsoft. I just ejected that CD and inserted the URL for the virtio ISO from the proxmox site to get the disk drivers loaded. I swapped back to the Windows ISO after that and then installed network drivers once it booted up.
Today, after 2 weeks, my Z-4 VPS was delivered, so here is YABS:
BTW. @DeluxHost I love your admin dashboard, everything is so easy and clear.
Thank you 🙏🖤
Hey guys,
In the next restock, which of the 4 offers might interest you the most? 👀
i think we can do maybe a another restock.
Maybe some storage offer soon?
The "Z-4" offer looked cool with its price to performance
nws.sh from the latest offers, fucking amazing price/performance
yup
pls restock z4.
My z3 arriwed yestarday. Looks good ty
Please don't oversell too much. The current performance is amazing, especially for the price.
Thank you
This will never happen, our nodes are purposely left with plenty of free space to avoid this.
We prefer to lose a part of the profit but give something of quality.
When will there be another restock?
Plans sold out ?
Z3 and Z4 looked the best...
Hope restock soon, as looking at another vps for my needs 👍🏻
Issues on at least one node in Amsterdam. Again.
It looks like the OFFER-T node went down, for the second time, last time it was a RAM related issue, we are checking again to understand better.
No other nodes or parts of our infrastructure are affected.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
@DeluxHost planned restock ?
The best ever low cost vps I have ever bought in my life to be honest.
4 hours already - any update? Asking here since there is 0 response to my ticket and also nothing mentioned on the Network Status page...
We have a lot of open tickets, this is due and confirmed to a RAM problem, the bank has been changed and the server we assume will be online in a few minutes.
This happened (for the second time) during non-working hours and therefore there were few technicians.
Sorry for that.
That's why status pages and announcement pages exist... to limit the number of people putting in tickets all thinking that the issue is limited to their VPS.
Assumption let you down again...
out of 5 services, 3 are off.
On the status page everything is correctly marked, the down was written 15 minutes after the crash
At the moment the situation is that the server was not booting properly, then we removed a RAM stick and it worked, but after a while it went down again, so actually the problem it's more serious than expected, if everything is not back online by tomorrow morning, we will proceed with a change with one of our AMD EPYC as a replacement node, without problems.
I would like to apologize again personally, these are things we would like to avoid, but they are totally out of our reach.
Of course we will give everyone 5 days to apologize.
Even if it's not enough, we hope you can understand.
