Don't want to sound harsh, but you are talking like a level 1 Helpdesk person?
If a person is running a server company, you would expect them to have been an experienced admin before who would have monitoring and logging in place. And know what happened and what fix is needed.
Why wait till tomorrow? Why not swap the server now and then put back when fixed.
No amount of logging will detect sudden hardware death in most things. Even hard drives at 100% health can die in literal nanoseconds.
I'm guessing because they are still trying to salvage it and changing servers is not as easy as pressing a button.
They have been transparent and explained the situation, that's better than 99% of hosts here.
We fully understand the urgency and frustration this situation may cause.
The current issue is due to a hardware malfunction preventing the server from completing the boot process, despite all immediate recovery attempts, including IPMI access, RAM reseating, and disk verification.
We're proceeding cautiously to ensure data integrity, and a comparable replacement system has already been arranged and will be connected tomorrow to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
Taking rushed action now without the proper setup could introduce unnecessary risks. Our priority is to resolve the issue without compromising your data or service stability.
We'll keep you updated as soon as the recovery operation begins.
Ah, there's another statuspage outside the client area...
any update?down long time
24h of Downtime
All out of stock... Looks like I missed the deal..
VPS down for almost 3 days.
can't login into the VPS panel from client area, showing "Information unavailable. Try again later.", the ticket says the ip has been changed and no account has been found for the VPS panel.
can't believe the VPS panel is not recoverable from client area by admin
my service tid is 1989
Yours seems ~20% faster than mine on the geekbench, and 10-20% on disks as well... looks like you got lucky!

Dear customers, it seems that a sudden power surge yesterday around 4:45PM has knocked out the disks, both of which were in RAID-1, at the moment the technicians are working to find a solution quickly, more information will follow shortly.
The situation remains critical.
So basically, after 1 day and 15 hours of downtime, they are still looking how to solve stuff and killing disks in the process... And that "more information will follow shortly" is also already quite some time ago.
Personally, there is no data on it that I don't have on a different VPS somewhere (that's why with LET VPSes I do redundancy). However, the very long downtime is worrying since my redundancy is less now and the other VPSes that I use are also LET ones that may have downtime...
I hope as they said change with one of our AMD EPYC as a replacement node
You should move us to a replacement node you promised yesterday
No, the promise was done a day earlier; the replacement would be done "tomorrow" (i.e. yesterday). Either that went wrong also, or they didn't start with that yet. There are only small pieces of information coming from different places, coming with a number of promises but no real deliveries.
I now see that I've misread the statement and the "power surge" was the cause of the issues in the first place, not during the fixing. Anyway - so basically it's saying "we think we know why", but after all this time they didn't have something running again...
Hello everyone,
We’d like to provide a transparent update regarding the recent issue with the OFFER-T node.
Two days ago, the node experienced a critical failure due to the simultaneous malfunction of both SSDs configured in RAID-1 — an extremely rare and unfortunate event. The node had shown signs of instability in the past, which seemed resolved after replacing a faulty RAM module, but unfortunately the situation worsened.
A new replacement server, powered by an AMD EPYC processor, was already scheduled to go live yesterday. However, due to some unexpected technical complications, the rollout was slightly delayed. The server is now ready and will be fully operational shortly.
In the meantime, our team is working hard to attempt data recovery from the failed node. While this is a complex task, we are doing everything we can to minimize data loss and will keep you informed of any progress.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The upgraded infrastructure will provide better performance and greater reliability moving forward.
Thank you for your patience and continued trust.
All our other offer nodes have also been checked to make sure everything is ok, and no problems of any kind have been highlighted.
This particular node had been taken from a different supplier as said, which proved to be completely unreliable, i take responsibility for this too, i'am sorry.
Well, seems like affected customers are going to get Epyc upgrade soon, which is nice.
Wow, free upgrades
For those of us that have backups or are happy to rebuild, can we have a fresh VM on the new box instead of recovering from the old node?
EPYC servers have been put online, those who have urgent needs can reinstall the server and it will be automatically put on the new node.
If you need the data instead, open a ticket and we will help you in the best way possible.
For those who decide to ask for the extra weeks as promised, kindly write it in the ticket if you have opened it or open it.
You should propably just reward the extensions automatically.
What are the odds of data recovery? Does not sound very promising....
after you have lost your data i should reuse your vps??? absolutely not i will cancel and report you for not having protected my data,
i don't care about a free upgrade you have lost all my data it is impossible that at the exact same time both ssd raid 1's no longer work!! healty monitoring systems?? absolutely not reliable
No problem, we wish you the best for the future.
These are things that can absolutely happen in this job, even if rare, I could give you many examples in other jobs, but I don't think it's necessary, no machine is perfect.
(Looking at your LET account i see you made two comments since you opened the profile, one to defend WaleHost, one of our competitors, mentioning us, and one here just to write this, It seems like a great coincidence 😁)
your data, your problem.
It was running smoothly for first month with no downtime, But lots of restart lately. Please fix.
Otherwise it's a great and perfect for this price.
Absolutely, unfortunately this only appeared in this node, from today with the new server everything will be improved.
Yeah that's really appreciated. Thank you for the prompt replies.
I didn't defend anyone, I replied to a comment, you made a mistake
As i said, no need to add anything else, good luck 🖤
We hope you can find better, in this beautiful community you will have a lot of choice.
As long as everything is public and transparent, I believe it's fine; different people have different choices.
