$7 is too much
Sure, paying for someone snooping on you is a strong no-go
When will you give me my $2.97 2GB RAM deal?
$3 is the new $7.
Sometimes probably
Thank you
LOL... NNN came early?
I would like to see low end adult themed movie streams. While doing graveyard shift - that would definitely spice things up!
In this case @CharityHost_org is in the wrong for even scanning the files as the per the op and mentioned that the domain is inaccessible via the web.
Now with all this being said. @CharityHost_org. Calling people trolls doesn't help and LET is actually quite a bigger community than one might think.
If you want send me a message and we can sit down if you want some help on better handling situations like this and also better fix your TOS/AUP.
No you troll. Let them alone.
I've been trying to help everyone here and also help @CharityHost_org in making sure something like this doesn't happen again. Things like this is a learning event. (Learn in what has happened and how to fix.).
What is done is done. No changing that. All can be done now is fixing some small things and everyone goes about their way.
Every hosting provider has had bumpy roads. I'm no exception to that.
Definitely a learning event for me.
For me too
I cannot do it now because I have lost my old email messages and, if I cannot prove my case, they may have a legal basis to open a court case against me for publishing false information.
Don't try to help unless someone asks for it. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your intention whole heartedly but the way charityhost is responding in replies, the behaviour is unwelcomed and often shady/evasive in nature. I am not sure they will take it as learning curve or even listen to you for that matter.
It was a learning curve for the customers.
"DO NOT USE CHARITYHOST IF YOU WANT PRIVACY."
That's the moral of the story.
That's a load of BS to be honest. If you can't prove, then don't bring it as fact in a discussion.
Speaking on abduction, does OP is free or still incarcerated with all his pr0n open to public? Is there any url mentioned regarding quality content?
You think that I need to prove everything I post? I guess this is too strict a requirement and, anyway, you have no right to ask me to do so. And yes, it is a fact and it happened to me personally.
You do not require to prove anything. But when you claim something as fact yet can't prove anything, then it becomes a non-constructive discussion.
According to Cambridge Dictionary a fact is something that is known to have happened or to exist, especially something for which proof exists.
It would seem that proof does not exist, as such it is not technically a fact.
This story finally convinced me to setup a GrayLog server with Beat collectors and to generally increase the logging on my servers using AuditD. It won't prevent anyone from accessing them, but it'll make sure I know about, (and can prove), whatever occurs.
Can you just check login history?
AuditD collects PAM Logins, so you could just parse those logs for events without collectors or Graylog, or you can use GrayLog to ingest all of the log data and have it alert on specific events.
It's backed by Elastic Search so it's got really good text search capabilities, and the Collectors parse the logs during ingestion, I'm so it should be easy to track the login session and subsequent events run from that session across all the logging for a proper audit trail
Go look at his original offer threads, it was the same attitude. He eventually dropped the attitude and took some advice from users and the quality of his offers improved dramatically so imo there's still hope he adjusts due to this encounter.
Joker.
I believe that the host itself can prove this. I know what I'm talking about. Because the tickets where I asked for details about those requests exist in their system. I simply don't have access to them because I closed my account with the host.
Sure, you may not trust me. That's your personal choice.
@systemfreaks But in which objection basis do you flag a bucket? If there is no proper objection mail means you go by my files checking "gay.poty.video.ubuntu.iso" - is n't violation of my Privacy ??
Its not VIOLATION of privacy because the bucket is PUBLIC to the web so therefore accessible from anyone, if the bucket policy is set PRIVATE (which is the default) then the files - bucket won't be flagged.
More drama than all Portuguese daily soaps combined!
Edit: nevermind.
Do you need to pay for Greylog? Is there any free and open source alternatives that do this?
