Feeling Abducted by CharityHost_org
Hi.
last month i got notification that i won 500gb FTP storage from CharityHost_org.
I though i can store some personal data and clear some space on my storage server. so i transferred 500gb pron to keep it as a cold storage. after one month, i got an email from CharityHost that my server is suspended due to AUP violation.
so i opened a ticket and ask support if it is not possible to store personal pron. if not then please give me time & option to retrieve all data back to old server. they replied it is not possible to unsuspend me even if it is using for personal usages only. and they will give me 1 week for data retrieve if i pay 25$. I just felt they give me free ftp of 500gb space to abduct me by honeytrap. and asking for 25$ is extortion.
i though most of provider allow storing pron for only personal usages if not shared to someone else or commercial usages even if AUP not allowed it. Very Bad Review for CharityHost_org from my experience, because i sent pm to CharityHost_org here and i got same reply. i though as let user he will consider it for one time but he also asked for 25$ .

Did they specifically mention it was due to porn, or was it generating some sort of abuse, and then they found out it was porn?

The first day I got it, the access control panel was unavailable. Many days later, I received an email saying it was fixed. I checked it out, but it was quite basic, so I decided not to use it and canceled the renewal. It's been sitting idle ever since.

You can encrypt a single file, no need for veracrypt/truecrypt/whatever containers

It seem they inspect the material for some reasons or they suspend it too keep the bdporn for themselves
sounds like there's no privacy btw. red flag for me. not that i liked this provider anyway.
If it was well organized, tagged, high quality ISOs i would like to pay 25$ to get it myself
25 dollar is a traffic cost to download them all
