    If you know anything about privacy laws you know how ridiculously it is to state this this would happen in NL... NL privacy laws are quite extreme, like too extreme maybe.

    All hearsay and I'm willing to defend/explain any case where a Dutch (legal) host snooped on clients . He's setting a narrative. It's 100% utter bullshit.

    It's an automated thing using checksums to get around privacy. No court orders needed, just need to add to ToS.

    More than interested to see a TOS and example of a host.

    Microsoft (onedrive), TikTok. Google drive, etc.

    You're using THEIR storage, you abide by their usage rules.

    I told a real story that happened in the Netherlands with well known host, and I asked them to confirm his request a few times. I don't know the current situation with him, but at least this was a true story.

    That is correct, DMCA protected content and Pornography is not allowed on public buckets, and when flagged bucket will be suspended - terminated depending on the violation, if the bucket is private then it can't be accessed publicly so usually there are no reports .
