Are you serious? wow!
Yes serious, what is your actual issue again besides comparing benchmarks?
So, in summary...
You bought a service where it is clearly stated there are no refunds, but you want a refund anyway.
You're complaining that 1.21 GB/s is too slow on a VPS with several other customers on it, all sharing the same drive. To put it into context, I'd only expect about 3-4x this from most NVMe drives on a dedi.
I'm wondering what your application is that requires a disk speed that's any faster than what you're seeing, as it seems pretty reasonable to me. Not the fastest, but by no means the slowest for a VPS. Are you actually encountering any real-world performance problems, or are you just worried because you want the biggest number you can get "just in case".
Finally, people complaining about the slow support speed on promotional services might want to notice that in the screenshot, the customer service response was within 24 hours every time, despite the fact that the ticket was clearly not a problem with the actual service.
On 99 % of HostHatch threads I side with the client.
I just want @hosthatch to know that in this one, even I can’t do that.
Conclusion: HostHatch did nothing wrong. Both VM’s perform great. If you need dedicated performance, get a dedicated server.
We know the fact that it's VPS and all resource are shared (yes, sometimes the CPU can be dedicated but overselling is common ) , when you have a naughty neighbour you may received worse performance compare to your original performance received. sometimes you are the naughty boy (unintentionally ).
It's low-end market and good luck when you have a premium VPS from premium provider with low cost , most of cases you get less than you paid or similar quality as what you paid. if you qualified for refund just go for it but check the terms carefully as when we buy on LET, we have no time to check the terms
Netcup sometimes provides nvme disks that are slower than this for servers that cost much more (like 20$ per month)
I don't understand the number of negative comments about hosthatch. I've been a customer for many years.
But obviously we don't have the same expectations.
There are a few providers who are really incompetent and who advertise here. But nobody talks about them and there's a lot more to say and a lot to laugh about.
Here's hoping that Hosthatch doesn't get tired of the drama here and continues to offer us promotional deals…
Thanks guys.
All of the above comments are the motivation for me to update my own understanding, and I accept them all.
That is to say I cannot refund at the same time.
The first person perspective makes me feel things are a bit weird, I mean, I have no choice at this time. I didn't realize this before.
Too many bold text here, i can't read
Sorry, I will try my best to control myself from using bold text anymore.
This is true you mentioned, I would also like to state that my ticket was not created with urgent priority but HH responded faster than I expected.
Why did you censor your name but not the staff in each screenshot?
he was able to but i guess he forgot
I mean that’s quite understandable IMO
Sorry, probably because I was lazy when making the mask bar.
My guess is that the crux of the problem is this:
I have no right to disagree with the quality of the VPS performance, and at the same time I have no right to apply for a refund.
That's why I'm showing you the situation I feel in a way that is as unemotional as possible for your reference.
I suddenly remembered that I had stated this situation in another post:

Thanks.
Maybe you can try reinstall OS.
I've re-installed it 3 times already.
I'd suggest if you're not happy with it you open a thread in the service transfers category. I'm sure somebody will happily take it off your hands.
It looks like IOPS are limited to 7K, which is the choice of the provider. Moving you to another node will do nothing, since it's a hard limit. It looks like decent NVMes since you are able to push > 1.8 GB/s with higher block count, but IOPS are simply limited on the hypervisor.
Very well said. Can’t agree more.
This VPS costs $35, not $350
$10 for push, or $15 for migration.
The former needs to wait/maintain, close to 30% of the price;
The latter does not guarantee that it will be fulfilled after the migration, over 40% of the price.
I'm just throwing ideas out there and I certainly wouldn't mind if I didn't get a refund.
As I'd mentioned to HH in screenshot #2 of the ticket: a refund was never my intention.
Can you please run YABS again, but with zero swap space (or max 1 GB swap space)?
Thanks!
I have literally no idea what you're trying to say here.
If this machine has only just been deployed and has almost full term left, most people would be happy pay the annual fee plus the transfer fee, which I believe is $10.
Most sellers pro-rata the asking price based on how much is left until renewal, so e.g. if you've used a month, then 11/12 of annual price or 23/24 of biennial price etc.
The maximum you can charge is 2x renewal price.
Basically, I've never reselled VPS before, I'm not sure the resale market and rules. I appreciate the offer either way, but I don't want reselling it myself.
Now taking this along with your last ticket request
As @ralf has suggested, if you are not happy with the vps performance, you should consider server transfer.
You can see YABS I have posted here (with a different provider)

and disk i/o is much less than what you are seeing here. That VPS is working well for my use case.
