Even if you forward this, I believe you would still have to pay fees and customs!
What are usually customs in your countries?
Wow, I focused on a discord discussion and refreshed to many pages here! Man you folks are making the page counts go up!
For backups?
Encrypt your data before uploading. We can't be sure about security at some places anyway.
You guys leave the laptop to me.
It should go up as prizes are above the sky!
Atleast on many lowend vpses!
Yes I believe
Local + remote is your best option if the data is important. A physical accident like fire makes local backups void.
Deal!
Thats cheap.
oh yeah the backlog of personal projects
you got it boss!
Yup. We have to pay that.
What are you aiming for gentleman.
I asked for it first
regardless of the provider, encrypt locally before uploading. Even if it's "funny-cat-meme.gif"
If you live in a country where customs are huge, then you're better off with credits
Its like first day of work... everything slows down slowly.
everyone says they will get it shipped but at the end they all just take the credits
We can't trust even highend ones, if the data is sensitive. Better safe than sorry.
Deal. 🍻
Indeed!
I'd be totally into winning maybe the TV, but I've been loving my 2007 Sony Bravia more than even my newer 4K 65" LG, so I'm just gunning for some account credit, or maybe some merch I don't have! Would be cool to have the new SwissGear backpack, I have the Northface one.
The backlog list goes on.. but recently I got so motivated. Will definetely rock some projects in 2025.
Yes, better off just colocate you're own hardware and have your own security
Use some dynamic dns provider or if you have a domain and your registrar has an api, you can just use that to automatically update it (of course, depends on TTL and how long it takes for the DNS servers you're using to pick it up)
Another +1 for Tailscale, it has built in DNS and domain names included.
I really should update my signature links, these are some ancient offers. I don't even think they still link to the original offers that had those PIDs at the time.
