They are also aware that most users here want this drama to continue for shits and giggles. Why ruin the fun.

So they will let him be for 10 years and watch closely if he refunded the amount, every day for the 10y timeframe.

Whatever makes most pageviews is best for the longevity. LET is the 4chan of hosting industry. Always has been.

He is not banned on OGF either.. I just checked. He has the same thread posted. I assume the mods and admins of both forums are waiting for this ongoing dispute to be resolved. If they didn't care, he would have been banned a long time ago.

Hi,

simply search 10-20 test servers ( to different regions ) with 10G each and test them all at once.

This way you will get more realistic results.

If you test ONE 100G target, then you can never be sure about the results.

You can never know if what ever smaller number than 100G you got might be because your provider does not provide the full 100G or his provider or the provider after and so on.

Usually you are choosing the dimensions of the uplinks that are connecting to your ASN's based on the usual client usage.

If you have a lot of customers from USA then you will choose to provide strong uplinks to the USA. If its to china, then what ever providers connect you well to china.

Just noone ( maybe except of the world players ) will just run to any tier 1 carry an "unlimited" amount of bandwidth.

So with your 100G test you might run in a situation that your test server is 3-4 ASN's away from you and the 3rd ASN has just connected 40G in between or has a rate limit or what ever.

Better you test a lot of smaller targets to make sure that its your link that might become saturated and not something in between...

I would like to officially ask you one thing, just to make things clear for me.
I understood that commenting anything about LET supporting criminals would get me banned eventually.
However, if I pay for a provider tag, am I safe to scam people here? Not necessarily a 22k hit in one go, I could try to get smaller amounts from multiple people.
So, could you assure me I won't get banned for scamming and you will try to take my side and cover me, just like you do for Calin?

I am asking this question with all the seriousness. I need to know what kind of people and providers are "safe" from bans here.

I think you shouldn't have the opportunity to be banned for saying things that are happening. Many of us realize that he kept the 20k and everything remains the same. It seems unbelievable to me that he kept the money and then made some AS changes, changed the formation of the company in Africa.

Maybe it's a move that will be seen over time, but I see that he has a track record with unprecedented antecedents, but we ask and on top of that they ask us to take it easy and just watch and shut up. I think that's the best thing to do.

30-day ban is ridiculous. It's mind blowing how annoying and disruptive other people are in comparison and never banned or limited to 1-2 weeks. Seriously, LET was way more disrespectful years ago when I joined and to me, had far less bans over mild stuff like this. These bans come off as some weird power trip, not consistent moderation.
People need to realize that Calin wouldn't be convicted for fraud or "scamming" in any court of law. He's incompetent, not scamming. You need intent. He lacked the knowledge and experience and got in over his head. Not the first in business to do that. The people who keep ranting on and on about scamming are kids who haven't lived in the real world.
