ah, too bad, I don't have on-prem business in Frankfurt nowadays.
But thanks for the invitation, maybe a chance comes up at some point and I'll write to you then, DC tours are always appreciated ^^
No, you are not part of the issue. ^^
If I really had to choose from the users posted here, I would say that Hyperblast has annoyed me a little. But i understand his obsession, i also have my quirks with some very specific metrics on some applications that i am running.
The most recent example of a LET user taking the cake was an individual that generated 83 TB of traffic in 7 days stating that we didn't specify that we don't offer unlimited bandwith on LET.
Now he want his payments refunded. He will get his payment refunded and he will also never again be able to order anything from us. 😂
How do you even handle that, you can't make this up haha
Sure i will leave you my personal contact details!
LET DC tour?
m y i m take flight
it's a shame that you feel compelled to take such drastic measures or make such drastic statements. unfortunately, the whole thing comes across as a bit thin-skinned.
i repeat myself, the vps is stable (much better than two other providers who recently only delivered crap) and the values are not super bad. but even ht-hosting had consistently better benchmark values with a very similar offer (but was super unstable).
blocking users... well, there's no need to comment any further. that says more about you than about the users.
damn. Threads for offers which are out of stock should be closed. Was wowed for a second looking at title and felt clickbaited next.
Hope I get a chance to grab.
my i recommend GoSSD this brand of flight
KYC is ignore
it s correct
Regards
it s correct
i can join if you like, i also come roughly from the region.
since i've annoyed you, it probably won't work out. never mind!
I couldn't have put it better! good man!
I’m not even kidding if we’re doing DC tour with the infra explained followed by beers I’ll take a flight
frankfurt is much closer then leopoldshöhe!
since i've annoyed you, it probably won't work out. never mind!
Although please schedule activities by time (full-day) and don’t mention alcohol so that my flight and hotel is tax deductible @ProHosting24
I claim the same for myself!
Haha thats great, i‘d be happy to invite you if you‘re down for that.
In germany we also tax deduct alcohol 💅🍹
Oh, they all show sold out!
Of course you do
so to call me 83 tb criminals in the same context is quite impertinent.
otherwise the old proverb applies: much enemy much honor!
@ProHosting24 why not just set a limit that you’re happy with? I rarely see people complain about Hetzner’s 20TB for example
Then just limit speed after that
Because in some cases we are okay with users exceeding those fair-use "limits".
Especially when customers experience high demands because of events or stuff they have to migrate.
This is only getting an issue when posting on LET.
If you think that this user base is incompatible to that because of to many black sheeps we will add this to the list of considerations for our next post as well.
I don't know if you can take it, because I scared you off.
If you are real about that we can discuss that, but i am not sure if we have enough of an tech stack to show case with a full rack of hypervisors and only some switching gear.
I could get in touch with maincubes to find out if they are still offering tours.
I mean... abuse is fairly common, yes.
You can try not to, but if it comes an issue, I'd add some hard limits. People are usually fine with that as long as it's not getting suspended once limits have been met (but instead bandwidth gets limited in terms of speed)
You can always continue with the unmetered fair-use on non-promo plans
Edit: Some even prefer it to not have to think about what's okay.
limit the traffik and secure a gb6-score from 1700
I am to young to be resentful over such things.
Or to old, however you're looking at it.
But i didn't want to compare you to weird users taking it for granted to generate 82 TB of traffic on such a offering under a fair-use policy.
Please reread:
Hello, I need another 16 GB VPS, is the website out of stock?
Sale is over, you can still order regular plans here: https://prohosting24.de/vpsplans
This only complicates matters again, and even then we probably still won't introduce an automatic limitation to, say, 10 Mbit/s. But I think specifying a hard limit could minimise unwanted encounters.
