Alright, just checking.. Good then. I haven't been there.. For all I know, c1v could really be premium for the country.. ;)

    It depends.
If his racks will look like Calins' racks and DC like Florians' place I am willing to believe that this is his DC.

No no. Like hazi or Calin are premium for romanian DC ? I don't think so. It's a simple server in a garage

Luca can colocate parts of Florin's and/or Calin's datacenters in his basement.
Plus, add his own servers in the mix to create "Basement Alliance".
It would be LET's answer to the "Bandwidth Alliance".

No, no, don't put me in this alliance.
HAZI.ro has solved its major problems related to:

    • Uptime (some rebalancing in progress)

    • Professional DDoS protection (Arobor including IPv6)

This is even though the lovely guys above have offered to offer me colocation in their basement and the other DDoS protection, while he reports more frequent downtimes than mine precisely because of this.

There is a difference between attack detection, filtering and capacity.

Completely off-topic, but how the f**k do you find the right tab, and how do you remember what you have in all of them??

His lack of professionalism and inconsistent network speed are the main reasons to cancel service for physical dedicated server.

    https://www.speedtest.net/result/16023120915

What's the dedicated config and price you paid?

15 Euros per month and i thought he would provide better service for customers having dedicated server.

    Server Configuration

    Intel Core i7-7500U
    16GB DDR4 RAM
    SSD NVMe 500GB
    40TB @ 1Gbps

Apart from speedtest how is the overall hardware?

If c1v agrees , I can transfer the server to you if you are interested.

Appreciate your curiosity! The concern isn't so much about showing the racks themselves but about revealing specific configurations, security measures, and operational details that could be pieced together to compromise security. While we understand that many data centers offer tours and share pictures, each organization has to navigate its own risk landscape.

We've indeed offered visits to our facilities to some members here, trying to balance transparency with our security commitments. The challenge is finding the right way to share more broadly without inadvertently giving away too much. It’s a fine line, but based on the feedback, we’re working on ways to share more about our environment that satisfies community curiosity and maintains the integrity of our client commitments.

Thanks for engaging and challenging us on this. It helps us refine our approach.

Just as surprised nobody noticed how some of the recent posts are native English and some aren't. ChatGPT or multiple users on one account?

  • Too lazy to read the previous 16 pages, tell me briefly, is there a chance that the provider and servers will start working in the near future? I rented it for 3 months, and for 2 months the server worked well.

They have huge capacity https://www.peeringdb.com/net/12568 and licensed solutions provided by arbor at edge https://www.orange.ro/business/securitate-cibernetica/ddos/
I'm confident about that they offer enough protection for the low-end market.

Your confidence and beliefs have never been the problem.

The problem is that you still do not understand nor try to understand what myself and other are saying here.

It took ages for this to get implemented, we are just waiting for the next problem, and the next problem, and the next.

With 20+ years in the industry, maybe I foresee what is coming next, just like others on here?...

Btw, the VAT number seems to be of the mother, Cinzia Tocci, here you can read more: https://www.c1v.org/editore
so most likely basement confirmed and according to the age of this woman, the son must be kinda young

And so is the company and the IP's.

I am just waiting for his confirmation of his age and who Cinzia is.

It seems that there is no separate hosting company, that she is trading as a private person, so in case of complaints through the court, it would become interesting.

Psssht! Noone tell him that with Sidebery and a reasonable compact font setting he could actually have like 100 tabs with names and all that open, while losing nothing but part of that useless black border ;)

Using a horizontal tab bar on some screen with a modern aspect ratio is simply masochistic unless you are very, very tidy in relation to open tabs.
