It's so damn close I can taste it. The winners are getting first go at the system with a twist to allow them to change specs within a fixed 'budget' in case they wanted to do something unique. Will help us find discrepancies faster and should be fun.
I can't wait, either. Performance on everything should just be that much better.
Updates here:
VPS winners coinciding with website update. 11PM Sunday night and I've finally gotten a status update with good news.
There is still going to be a bit more already-racked capacity coming out. I've just been purposely giving existing potential transferee's some time. We also have news re: upgrade/updates to PA per recent infrastructure upgrades on our end, but I'll wait to share it until I've let it simmer a bit and just make sure no last minute changes from upstreams/vendors on us. Would like to have that announced this week, contracts were all done on leap day.
What a cock tease. How's that for a double-entendre?
I am the two-time 1992-1993 Videobox Edging Challenge World Champion
what happened I still did not get my giveaway VPS ?
You are a bot @codelock ? Read read read
Where is this message I can't find it
Good news! Looking forward to the launch of the new high performance systems! Let's goooooooooooooo!
(But also, don't needlessly rush so you can make sure they are 100% solid!)
Still Waiting from weeks... for "4.5GB Yearly VPS" restock....but still remains 0....kindy 1 arrange for me...please
Is there a in stock notification service like buyvm has but for crunchbits?
@naumanx2 wow why haven't you opened tickets and contacted @crunchbits ?
@emg88 they are suggestig to check here everytimte: https://crunchbits.monster/
Wait 'till Sunday Night.
Both can be done, but crunchbits.monster and also a stock notification in our Discord now track when things come back in (either auto-restocked when off contract, or we manually add new stock).
Additionally just posting here, I have to apologize as our newest hire accidentally caused a large fiber outage and reduced capacity/congestion currently for our WA location until fixed.
You guys recovered from that quickly though. My uptime monitor blew up this afternoon on all crunch bit WA VPS, I would have shit myself if I wasn't already on the toilet.... 2 minutes of downtime I didn't even have a chance to wipe and check on what was going on before they were back up. I thought it was a upstream routing issue it was so quick.
Edit: Damn, your new hire did cause an upstream routing issue with that truck. Time to revise the employee handbook for no more drinking on lunch break y'all. I know I know, taking away God given rights of margs at lunch isn't right, just give them Uber credits.
Glad you guys have this squared away! Thanks for the updates and transparency! (referring to not just your post here, but the link you provided in your post: https://get.crunchbits.com/announcements/25/NOTICE-Reduced-Network-Capacity.html)
@crunchbits
What happened with the employee?
bite the dust.
NEW UPTIME METRIC!!
I finally got time to read this thread, and seems @crunchbits still has not delivered thier giveaway vps , wtf were you trying to say here maybe you should learn to read first yourself
Fucking idiot. Read the last message from @crunchbits say "VPS winners coinciding with website update. 11PM Sunday night and I've finally gotten a status update with good news."
Chill guys, it's the weekend
useless bump.
They have lost connectivity in PA and my VPS is down
right when I was migrating websites there.
Anybody else having problems in PA?
Down
never down.
I lost connectivity very temporarily
Did you open a ticket?
What do you consider "very temporarily"? From Better Uptime, Uptime Robot, Hetrix Tools and multiple instances of Uptime Kuma the loss of connectivity was roughly 31-34 minutes. So not a super long outage but also not what I would call "very temporary" either.
