In the last few days it seems that I have been a teacher without wanting to.
I saw more topics about DDoS than ever before.
As a small update, I checked the emails between me and path.net
Their protection for 1Gbps was $1250/month (enquiry June 2023) with a minimum contract duration of 12 months.
Sure, I'll skip it.With this money, I get my entire infrastructure in the cloud [OVH or Hetzner] and I no longer have to worry about energy costs, cooling, etc.

I think is moment to stop talking and take serious actions to protect your company and what reputation you have left.

Feeding me and other trolls will not help you on the long run.

Serious actions have already been taken, I'm just waiting for them to be implemented.
Thank you for admitting that you are a troll for the first time :)

It’s 1Gbps clean traffic on 95% and quality has it’s price. Sorry to hear about your situation and hope you can sort it out. Best of luck for you and your business in the future.

"Quality" is not used in hazi context. Keywords: cave hosting.

True. But hey at least he tries to build something. Nobody is perfect. You learn only when you fail. So let's keep pushing.

Funny, I had already filed him under "Dunning-Kruger" months ago... Do I need to move his permanent record to the C cabinet? That's ... work... XD

I've been watching Florian since the very beginning, before moving to his house dc.

He is the perfect case study example of how far a low intelligent person with some support from parents & society can go.

Some thousand years ago, the people who were wondering why others run, they were eaten by the bear. Now they even run business.

As long as DDoS is ongoing, [network] performance drops [are] expected tomorrow for VPSs in Romania

And we're all tuned in to see if it's really a DDoS in the first place! The most amazing part of this thread is that it's 18 pages of ignoring offers of assistance from clueful people while leaking information that's useful to attackers while still obviously not having sufficient information to properly characterize the behavior being observed.

You can't help him with anti-ddos. We already tried in a long ass thread when he had cloudflare issues xD

Its impossible task since he doesen't listen and/or if he does, he won't follow your guidance or applies something disastrous as a bonus which ruins the previous thing you adviced him to do.

Bro can lease a 400 Gbps best effort line and roll his own DDoS protection.
Each packet will be inspected by the dog before letting through.

Exactly. I figure it'll start this huge new trend of DPI-BD: Deep packet inspection by dog.
