Good point. You should have told me about this much earlier.
Got 2 of them haven't seen any significant steal, network still as good and got that private network link
I thought as much!
@wuck Are you also running YABS 24/7 as well as cronjob? If not, you can join the fun
Waste of resources. Run something meaningful on this beast
Meaningful like running YABS to gather important VPS performance metrics
For all those who want to save a little more, for example to extend the server. We currently have a top-up bonus of 25% extra credit: https://bero-host.de/customer/money
Example: Top up 100 euros and receive 125 euros on your customer account.
That's a very nice offer! Though I still have a question regarding the invoice part: Will the invoice be issued to my top-up amount or will it be issued once I paid for some services using my top-ups?
It's kind of important to make this clear so I know what to prepare for the accountant next month
After adding credits, I'm ready to extend my service, but I've noticed a possible error in the calculations. Currently, I have 33 days remaining in my service. If I upgrade today to extend the service for one year, it should be 365 + 33 days, totaling 398 days. Therefore, the expiration date should be on January 26, 2025. Is my understanding correct? Right now it shows the expiration date is December 27, 2024.
Any comments on that @berohost?
We issue invoices when the service is extended or ordered. We can also provide a proforma invoice for a credit top-up.
Please create a ticket so that we can check this. Normally, January 26, 2025 should be correct if you still have 398 days to go.
The bandwidth is limited to 25 TB per month, as mentioned in the post. After that, throttling to 100 Mbit/s can occur.
A permanent utilization of the CPU is not allowed, especially mining or continuous 100% utilization. You are welcome to open a ticket with us and clarify whether your project is okay with us.
OK, thanks!
Is 100% mean 1 core or 6 core , since some provider use 100% x core formula.
Just asking since you use 100% instead of full
In principle, it can be used 100% at any time, but not permanently, as the cores are not dedicated. It should not be a problem if you use 50-60% permanently and have peaks up to 100%. There should only be no permanent load at 100%, as we do not allow mining or similar.
Thanks for clarify it , it better make it clear so people dont abuse server (or they do within limit)
You said 200 Mbit/s after the 25TB used in earlier post, which one is correct ?
I guess 100 Mbit/s is the correct one.
I'm pretty sure the 50-60% permanent CPU usage would change too. it'll take just 2-3 abuser to make the service unusable.
If someone wants to get rid of the server mentioned in this topic, please message me so we can do something to transfer it.
Why you want to get rid of the server?
Why not? Maybe the guy doesn't want to pay anymore for that service.
I mean to ask, Are you facing any issue with them that you want to get rid of it?
He mean he want someone give up and transfer server since he miss the deal
Ahh, Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am getting issues with their network speed. My VPS don't go more than 200-250Mbps. Sometimes very rare 400-500mbps. I have just used 10 GB of bandwidth. Look like now they are too much oversold!!!
Wanna transfer the server?
Sufficient bandwidth should always be available. Please contact Ticket Support so that we can check this.
Already ticket is open from last 24hrs and also CLI test screenshot also sent to you as you asked.
prepaid host still got their xmas offer which looks similar
Can I use 100% for 3-4 hours and under 20% for the rest of the day?
The average utilization would be under 35% over 24 hours period.
