Very sad to see this!
That seems awfully high, I've seen them run $250-300/mo on an XC before, but I suppose it's also where you're going with the XC.
LEB has a few VPS systems that @AXYZE and I use for tutorials and such.
One is a DediPath annual plan we bought in December...😞
The right thing for DediPath to do is refund any unused time for all users. Not saying that's likely...
Yeah, such a nice company that shutdown in 1 day.
Won’t be easy with no money.
We have a bunch of servers in stock, if anyone needs to migrate, we are willing to match / beat the deals you had with Dedipath!
Indeed, great company with great services. At the end nothing lasts forever
I bought a low-end VPS from them for a year just yesterday.
Did they operated at a loss, so it was the result of the company's shutdown? Who knows...
Hosting businesses are highly unprofitable due to the fact of competition.
That's not necessarily true. Hosting can be very profitable if you have the right suppliers to source equipment from (or DIY builds with parts), have the right partners for facility and the right network providers.
Competition is everywhere.

If anyone needs anything, please reach out to QuickPacket. We have some of the same locations live today, and even in locations we aren't live, we can work out something temporary until we add a new POP in the desired location.
Also, QuickPacket has been around since 2003 - we celebrated our 20th anniversary in June. We aren't going anywhere.
There's really a lot of discussion going on here.
Yeah and it will continue.
holy smokes, how can they just give a 1 day notice?
Just a tip but since most paid through PayPal it would be quite wise to file for a refund for any services past today while they can still get the cash back.
We are sorry to hear about customers impacted by this incident. If anyone needs anything, do let us know. We are 100% privately owned with no debt, we own all of our servers, and have been in the IT industry for 30 years.
We also are the owners of MET International / The Server Store if you are a colocation customer affected and need hardware asap. We have great deals on pre-owned servers.
This is really sad
they are not a small summer host wondering what caused this sudden collapse
For users with colocated hardware login to all your servers and get the serials and model numbers of all your components using dmidecode or the ipmi (disks, ram,MB and any other component take the model and serial )
this will be handy in case it get ugly in the future
If this information is accurate, the LET Administrator should remove the two Dedipath banners that are currently running on LET, one on the right sidebar and another in the footer.
holy shit! backup right now...a sad day
