@PeterP On the flash sale page for LHR-X9SCE i see one price and while ordering another one (2 times higher). Why?
You had me for a second.
Then I realized, that the site is just broken.
The 39,90 USD one is: PHX-X9SCE rest are over 60 USD/m
Yeah. The first time I saw tokyo server 10Gbps unmetered for $40 per month. I was thinking, god for sake, how is it this cheap?
I assumed it would be possible due to hardware being so old, and the 10Gbps being part of shared pool of bigger size, hence not guaranteed, and also with the Fair Use Policy, they could still make some profit, but I was more focused about the UK one as it was more believable xD
Seems prices are updated now. Not interesting, Would definitely grab London one if the price would be 40 USD
Any EU one with those specs and path.net anti-ddos at 40 USD would be an instant buy, even if its in middle of nowhere like Poland.
My apologies for this, it appears there was a typo in the variable that called for the price which made the pricing appear incorrectly. This has now been corrected.
Yeah we had noticed this right away and actioned to resolve it to ensure everything is correct. Sorry about that.
Still the price seems a bit high for a SATA drive.
Depending on the model, it may achieve 0.5 to 1.0 gigabit per second transfers to/from it. Anything faster would have to be in RAM/cache.
Phoenix X9SCE
have a glass?
Only if that comes with SSD
We can upgrade the 1TB hard drive to a 1TB SSD for $40 one-time if you would like on a Phoenix X9SCE, feel free to open a ticket in our portal after placing an order and we can get that done for you. This goes for anyone interested in the Phoenix X9SCE
What other disk options? Like one time payment.
Any possibility of RAM upgrade?
If they include one time pay upgrades, im suddenly interested.
The same here!
No VPS? Sir?
Premium DDoS Protected. Layer 7 included or not?
@PeterP
How much one time would I need to pay for 1tbssd and 2tbx2 hdd?
Thnx
Hi, is possible later add another disks (SSD800? or some larger SATAs too? If yes what free slots there? (query regarding to E3-1240 LAX))
Thanks for answer
We can offer the following upgrades on the Phoenix X9SCE microclouds:
Unfortunately Tempest does not offer VPS services at this time. We do offer Layer 7 filters to fine-tune the protection for applications and games such as Rust, FiveM, San Andreas Multiplayer, Minecraft, SCP: Secret Laboratory, Wireguard, OpenVPN, among others which are all available within the firewall manager in our client area.
@peterp How long is the sale going for?
Hey there miu,
Unfortunately we are unable to offer upgrades on the LAX offerings at this time, these upgrades are limited to the Phoenix X9SCE offering.
The sale is ongoing until 11:59:59pm UTC on January 31st.
And is possible order multiple disks?
For example: 2x 16 SATA & 2x SSD 1TB?
Thanks for the info!
BTW: this i call UPGRADES!!!!! awesome awesome awesome
Great provider *********** with totally AWESOME offers!!
My wallet is today again bleeding, but awesome offers caught
And info for other regarding disk upgrade: Seem max 2 disks can be total assigned in this Phoe 1 blade
LAX 1240:
@PeterP do you have test ip phoenix location?
How much can be expect to use on this 10gb unmetered as it’s dirt cheap and power alone can’t cover the fee you’re charging
What’s the catch here ?
Its a 10G switchport, as you can see it barely goes above 1G in the bench above. Looks oversold to hell, but it could just be that node.
BLADE
Thanks for your comments, and welcome to Tempest! We're glad you're happy
You are correct in that there is a maximum of 2 disks per Phoenix blade, especially with regards to HDDs - SSDs can have up to 4 disks per blade.
Not oversold at all, as you can see in the YABS results provided by miu (the same one you're referencing) it definitely reaches above 1Gbps - 4.87Gbps to be exact. We have ~14Tbps of bandwidth capacity and our network averages 300Gbps utilization.
