    All tempest servers will come with a Single IPv4 Address. We do not currently offer IPv6.

    Does it support IPMI with virtual media?
    In the user's control panel, can I use CUSTOM ISO (without the need to open a ticket)?
    Can Windows be installed(BYOL)?
    Can I do two HDDs in raid 0 or raid 1?

    Just curious, what kind of storage you used to reach the following test speed?

    Yes, these server have IPMI with virtual media.
    For custom ISOs, you would need to have us add it for you, or use NetBoot.
    Yes, we can install Windows Server 2019/2022, and you will need to BYOL.
    RAID0/1 should be no problem :)

    As for those speedtests, they were ran on a standard X9SCE, with the HDD.

    We would replace those drives at no cost to the customer.

  • For those tempted with one-time upgrades, don't. The drives never showed up. I wonder if anyone actually got the drives.

    I already asked for cancellation. A hosting company without a single hard drive in inventory is like a circus without any clowns. The show won't end well.

    How long does it take to replace a defective storage?

    If it really takes a week for storage related actions, is it possible to refund me all the invoices I paid?

  • I was told a week on the 15th. When asked for updates they said that there's no updates on the upgrades yet.

    +1 waiting for that too. Seems a bit odd as taking longer.

    Hey Everyone. Just spoke with the team about all the previous questions.

    IPv6 :
    - IPv6 is available on request.

    Upgrades :
    - Upgrade parts are ordered and are currently in transit. Drive failures would be replaced almost immediately with current stock, however these upgrades are using all new hardware.

    Effective April 26th, 2023, Tempest has discontinued the provisioning of IPv6. Any changes to this decision will be communicated through a subsequent update or announcement.

    Weird. They changed my billing date to a new date +10 days from when it was supposed to renew. I didn't even ask for it. I only replied to my "on hold" ticket asking about the status of my order.
