    Gotcha
Without hardware change should be much faster.

    Any possibility of RAM upgrade?

We can offer the following upgrades on the Phoenix X9SCE microclouds:

    • 32GB RAM for $40.00/one-time
    • 1TB SSD for $40.00/one-time
    • 2TB SSD for $80.00/one-time
    • 4TB HDD for $60.00/one-time
    • 6TB HDD for $80.00/one-time
    • 10TB HDD for $120.00/one-time
    • 16TB HDD for $140.00/one-time

    Hi,

Are these upgrades possible at a later time with the same pricing?

Is it possible to have 1tb ssd + 2x4tb hdd on the Phx blade ?

  • Seems Flash sale has been extended till Feb 3

  • @PeterP any ETA for the hardware upgrades? (15+ days here waiting).

Hey there, unfortunately the one-time upgrades were only available up until the 31st for new orders. Also, sadly the configuration you mentioned isn’t possible with the X9SCE in Phoenix due to the internal layout of the nodes.

The flash sale itself has indeed been extended as we still have some available stock, however as mentioned previously the offer for one-time upgrades has expired for new orders.

Checking in with the hardware team on this, as far as I’m aware everything for the upgrades was ordered and enroute to the datacenter and was scheduled to arrive sometime this week. Feel free to shoot me a DM or submit a ticket and we can get a more accurate ETA for your upgrades and compensate as necessary for the wait.

O dear. I thought the upgrades would be in sync with the flash sale. I should have ordered when I made this post.

In terms of upgrades, what options do I have now?
    Thanks

Fluffer is correct. As these are SATA Spinning Drives, the Read/Write is expected to be a bit lower.

Hey! So the drives/RAM upgrades are in transit, but there has been a few delays from the Vendor that we ordered these from. The original Vendor had provided us a tracking number, which did not update for many days, leading to us ordering the order a second time from another vendor.

To anyone still waiting on their drive/RAM upgrades, please go ahead and either DM me your order number, or open a ticket on our portal, and we will get your services extended for this inconvenience.

Don't you have all the tickets about upgrade? Not sure why we have to PM you which you rarely replied for selective extension. Would be nice if you can take care or cancel whoever can't wait longer.

Fairly sure they filter GRE/WG on these plans. Also certain they won't do BGP.

I would refer you to our Terms of Service. Tempest does not allow tunneling for remote protection. Running a VPN is allowed.

We do offer BGP, in the case of announcing your own subnet.
