  • Any plans for supporting crypto for below $20 amounts? That would be nice.

I used to, However, CoinPayments.net stoped doing business with US-based companies so I had to stop. Blesta only supports 3 crypto currency payment processors and none of them were viable replacements due to being a US-based company.

  • Will you stop offering $12/year lvz by next year? What will happen to existing subscription?

At this time the plan is to pro rate refund the remainder of subscriptions some time in December. I don’t really have any other choice, other than running at a deficit :/

I haven’t decided yet. I’m going to have to look into how much fee’s get taken. This is all very fluid, I have close to a thousand of users that purchased LittleVZ servers so it’s going to be a major task to do this and any error could cost me a big penny.

    1. Convert LittleVZ to NAT service, in same location.
    2. Double the remaining service period.
    3. Renewal price follows normal NAT service price.

I appreciate the creativity in helping me find a solution. This definitely is another option I am considering.

Weird that Blesta doesn't support coinbase considering how popular it is.

Edit: But looks like Bitpay is supported. Considering Bitpay itself is in US, I doubt they wouldn't do business with US based companies.

Alternatively, not a perfect solution, but still... maybe you can find accommodation with some other reputable host and do migration.
Unlike refunds this process wouldn't cost you anything (apart from your time). Just a thought.

Offer us an option to migrate (or without data) the service to NAT and convert the remnant term by the price of the new NAT service. For myself i dont actually want to purchase another service as it might be outta stock. We old user should be guaranteed the priority to get the new NAT service in SG.

    Kudos

  • I really hope that have a solution to keep the service with any option change,as long as the server is still at the same dc.(The only reason for me to use the littleVZ in SG is because the DC stable connectivity by private peering with my ISP)

This never works out well when it comes to privacy concerns.

Migrations sound “good” but they don’t work well in blesta. The link between services gets lost when a service is migrated so unfortunately it’s easier for me to create a new server in blesta directly which causes a lot of work.

As for SGP Nat, I am open to doing and will be doing. Everyone will be able to get a spot even new customers.

If possible, please setup multiple ips for NAT VPS, like a numbers of users using IP1,and another group of user using IP2. ( a little higher price is acceptable, since this will help about IP Address Reputation or something else)
And thanks for considering the SGP NAT concept. ;)

BTCPay Server has been added, shipping soon in the next release. It's self hosted so there are no transaction fees, no KYC, etc etc. I personally really like it.

I understand the desire to have a clean IP. The work involved to maintain clean IP's not easy when it's being shared amongst hundreds of users. But also, having multiple IP's on a single node changes the concept of NAT VPSs. Ideally, the best way to work around these kinds of issues is to use IPv6 whenever its feasible but if you need a shiny clean IP it's going to come at a premium now that my LittleVZ's are basically being evicted from OVH :/

I just saw the email from somewhere and I decided to share it.

Starting on Sunday 11/6/22 I will be beginning to issue account credits and canceling LittleVZ servers.

Once I have the LittleVZ servers off of these nodes, I will begin the process of re-purposing them into NAT nodes, meaning, I will have SGP, AUS, UK, and VA as NAT locations.** This is tentative and is subject to change at any time.**

Thank you Cam for the great services & friendly support.

I'm looking forward to see the fresh NAT locations in the near future  .

And it seems I should grab something on this year's BF sales as a tradition .

it seems that WordPress cannot be installed on the shared hosting plan. It is temporary or just the way it has become?

    Thanks.

I would basically need to add an additional $30/year to each package/service for it to be profitable again. At that pricepoint, it just doesn't become marketable anymore.

    Thanks,

The remaining service time is being credited to your account to use on a NAT server. I can't convert them to a NAT as I don't have nat locations in SGP, AUS, UK, VA at this time.

Wondering the same thing, as I don't have anything to spend my credit on if those locations aren't brought back online with NAT service.

(I guess I could make do with DE to replace my UK server, but there's nothing remotely close to replace the AU server)

It's not AUS but Whplus has Singapore & Indonesia NAT VPS's at highly affordable rates, I know I'll probably be grabbing a SG service to replace the one I had with Cam.
