Nothing wrong with using Cloudflare. Domain expires in 2026 which is four years away not two months away.
It'd be nice to know what caused this problem but so far its an advert for Hivelocity and a good warning call for any MaxKVM customers
Now i have high expectations, but there is none in my province, will visit when i go to jakarta next time
Bro, in Jakarta they got a chicken Taco where the fucking is taco shell itself is made of crispy chicken. You gotta eat that shit and report back.
@MaxKVM - Man up. Contact Hivelocity and sort the issues yourself.
True! Cloudflare actually shows that the host has considered some aspects of security and reliability, as it's not simply a CDN.
That could be their motto: "We're not just a CDN: We're Cloudflare!" ;-p
@Hivelocity Could you please write how many messages from @MaxKVM clients have you received?
I will.. thanks.. need the distractions
Still no explanation, plans moving forward or an apology from the provider.
Consider this situation:
Let's say the title gets reverted, we're then left with the request to contact MaxKVM's upstream to tell them that we support free speech and to resume full operations for MaxKVM.
I'm sorry but the request is inappropriate - no one should be contacting HVC regarding MaxKVM-related matters and services.
Instead of going on and on about the thread title, for your customers' sake and peace of minds, how about focus on explaining what happened and your next course of actions?
Remember, a mistake that makes you humble is better than an achievement that makes you arrogant.
My ✌️ cents.
You forgot a comma: "You gotta eat that, shit and report back."
great quote!
Yes, but just to make it clear, it's a known quote and not from me of course
This is the sort of content I come to LET for.
free CDN
What?
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3416829/#Comment_3416829 This dude NCISing DNS records
DNS only
Now I can't unsee that lol
How can you tell from the DNS records the CDN is in use?
Paypal is quick 2day
...exactly - I think the person posting that was trying to say MaxKVM was dodgy for using CF because it was free (?)...
1) Take backups of all of your data
2) Find another provider that isn't run by a moron (this part is easy but sooooo many people seem to miss it)
3) Restore backups
4) If you're happy, go to 1, else go to 2.
5) End
You forgot a couple more;
6) PayPal chargeback for your millions lost
7) Send @Hivelocity a personalised thank you card
reminded me the old days

You do realize that not every malicious user is tinyweasel, right? It's important to me that you realize that.
♬ So many times I looked and saw your face ♬
They're proxying the main web traffic but could be DNS only for other records
You can lookup the domain to see if the A record resolves to Cloudflare to see if the proxy is active but it is possible for them to disable caching. I don't think Cloudflare gives that away, maybe in their hit headers but not 100% sure on that
Thing is we don't know if they're using the free plan or business plan anyway so their entire post was potentially wrong. Their basis for it (being that using Cloudflare is a negative thing only summerhosts do) is invalid though
8) blame the fail on Putin.
ikutt
ikutt x2
Yeah, MaxKVM is dodgy as fuck for many, many things as it stands lol
The closest Bojangles is like 2 hours north in Gainsville, but it's worth the drive every single time.
