None.. since 2006.
Avast one, Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware.
Norton is top-tier AV together with BitDefender, Kaspersky and ESET. For years they are used in a lot of companies, governments etc. around the world.
Kaspersky for home is free that's why I recommend it. If you want paid then either of them is good
For business the best deal is BitDefender GravityZone it costs just $2 per seat if you buy it with RMM from TechsTogether.
If you lockdown your OS (standard user instead of admin, default-deny firewall or at least block lolbins) then Microsoft Defender is fine with tweaks I already mentioned earlier (ASR Rules, PUA protection, increase Cloud Protection Level). MS + Comodo Firewall is easy on resources and has amazing protection, but you need to configure it. With Kaspersky Free you just install and dont care - if someone non-techy asks you what they should install then just recommend them Kaspersky.
So no one is mentioning what Norton is currently doing right now with their own software:

However..
WTF they think they are doing?
Brain and Windows Defender for when that fails.
Fresh SE Labs antivirus test report if someone is interested

Norton & Kaspersky on top,
McAfee & Webroot bottom.
They bought Avast and seems like it wasn't brightest idea so they need more $$.
No Bitdefender, ESET, and Trend Micro. But, they include Free editions of Avast, AVG, Avira as separate products (all parts of Norton, and probably sharing signatures, too). 4 products out of 12 are from the same company.
Bitdefender & ESET resigned from participating in SE Labs testing. They were included earlier, but not in recent tests. Interested why? Just look at older results.

PR. marketing. That kind of stuff. It doesnt look great when you are fighting at top-level and losing.
They will eventually join again when they fix problems with their engine/cloud.
Mcafee
That's good to know. Thanks.
None. I'm using built-in Windows Defender. But the best anti-virus is made of the brain.
Harder to distribute. Otherwise I would've done it by now.
What anti-virus solutions used in China?
It's all about the Mac Baby!
360 Total Security & Kaspersky & Microsoft Defender are most popular in China, but a lot of people there don't use antivirus at all & disable Windows updates.
Kaspersky is illegal in china afaik. Che hoo 360 seems takes the lead.
Kaspersky
Norton is crap with their new Crypto version.
Just like VPNs are illegal
ESET
This post should be named which anti-windows you are using, coz there is no bigger virus then windows itself
On a serious note if you use windows perhaps MalwerBytes or Windows Defender itself..
Bitdefender and Malwarebytes
I would never recommend Kaspersky to technical illiterate users. If we are talking about Windows and free antivirus, then you just need to use Windows Defender.
If they are ready to pay, then ...
Kaspersky will not be on my list of recommendations either.
I run Elastic EDR on my PCs (self hosted, free) and Intezer on my Linux hosts (free community license). As previously mentioned, Defender is great, but I prefer the additional host telemetry of an EDR.
Windows Defender
