AVG Free edition though now they have this annoying expiry thing that makes you have to uninstall and redownload/install periodically so I might switch to something else.

  • mbam on Windows previously, on linux/android - none

  • Windows Defender plus not opening random anything, Not had a paid Antivirus for over 10 years and have not had any issues in that time

I use Sophos home edition. It's free for personal use for mac and windows. https://home.sophos.com/en-us/

  • I currently use F-Secure which uses the Avira engine, I tested a few AV F-Secure was the lightest on my system, Bitdefender is also good but it sometime can be a little too heavy on low end spec devices.

  • Eset Nod32 on Windows 10
    On Android Mobile, none.

  • nothing

  • I have not used one since the late 90s. 1997 was that last time I used an AV. Linux since 1994 and fulltime Linux since 1999. Even on Windows I don't need them.

    I've heard Nod32 is good.

Serbia - geo-positioned so that in order to survive, you must balance between the east and west.
That's why USA (Google) gets to read all my emails, and China gets to see all my files.
    Life's good...

  • I think the built-in Windows AV does a good job.

If I ever download games linux ISOs, I upload it to virustotal.com first just to be sure

None. I use common sense before i hit links and bullshit, open emails from rich uncles and stuff like that. Never had a issue past 15 years. Paid antivirus is a scam.

    What He Said

  • Brain.exe

  • bitdefender in home computer , trend in the work and fortinet

  • I run ubuntu as a daily driver so I don't worry about AV. I do dual boot with Windows 10 because of school-related software and I run E-SET NOD32. I'm sure uBlock Origin is doing more to protect me, though.

  • None, CleanMyMac X is enough for me.

  • Kaspersky Security Cloud here :)

  • I guess Im not gonna renew my Norton. Nice discussion here. @AXYZE was very informative.
