A tipical LET user reads only OP and flash deal posts.
No server yet.
Estimated
Time of
Arrival
The real question is why people ignore the estimated part.
FTFY
Because it's estimate instead of wild guess? and people waited two more weeks?
Estimate: a judgement that you make without having the exact details or figures about the size, amount, cost, etc. of something
an approximate date != any date
@foitin - I rest my case. Enjoy your PMS for the rest of your life. I shall try to stay out of it, because reading is just too difficult... I understand you.
Thinking with mind and logic is too difficult for fanboys. I understand you.
Guess the only thing fanboys is good at is being a total dick to people.
Being a dick makes valid arguments seem PMS to you cuz dick never has PMS? Understandably.
Learn to read. It's the same story everywhere, always, with all newbies like you. If you can't read, stop ordering stuff you can't handle in expectations.
Well, he is right about one thing. You are a dick.
The same to you Mr. Richard (?) I guess.
Learn to read people's valid arguments.
It's not my VPS's delivery due date yet. It's just that I found it funny that fanboys defend providers at all cost and blame customers for not reading previous posts that are not related to this exact offer, customers getting frustrated due to broken promises and silence.
I personally canceled my annual VPS from other provider, for this offer and I bet there're other people same as me. They're might be people who totally got screwed cuz the estimate is not estimate at all.
And I stated: Ask for refund! If you don't get your pathetic refund for not reading, then chargeback, and go away.
It's not about defending a provider, it's about reading what happened in the past, so you understand how the provider works and invests your money. It's the same story all over again, but you can't be bothered to read, therefore I become a dick and fanboy.
Life is wonderful, especially when stupidity is involved.
It's not my VM's due day so why do I ask for refund? Plus there's people above getting declined for refund request.
Oh. It's an hour past mine's due day but I can wait a couple of days. Not like indefinitely or whenever they feel like to deliver.
**Did you read their posts ** before blaming them for not reading previous reviews?
So, what happened in the past = what will happen in the future?
Say, if a provider offered complimentary extra RAM, bandwidth or something in the past. Can I ask them for the same treatment for the latest offer?
Life is beautiful, when people think with their mind instead of their dick.
Keep on dreaming... I shall try to stay away of your dreams.
Last year's pro-bono lawyers are this year's fanboys, I guess?
Keeping on being a dick and argue with all your biases ...
You want to stay away but
~ (Dick and irrational fanboy) bustin' makes me feel good~
Maybe. The thing is... there is no excuse for not reading. It's not that I'm a fanboy, it's just that I can not stand so much drama. I get it and understand when people complain about downtime or bad support. But when delay in provisioning was advertised, and when that same delay is a repeat of previous behavior, it means people can't read.
Time and time again LET has seen so many people not having patience or not able to read properly. It's history repeating itself, both for providers, and for customers - meaning people can't read.
Could you guys just debate it in a PM? Serious updates on this thread are useful, not that chitchat
We're all broke now, thanks to @hosthatch... So many millions lost!
You can get an hourly VPS (Vultr, DO, or maybe even an HH VPS with their "normal" plans...) and migrate to it, you'll be able to cancel it as soon as your special VPS is delivered.
or you could simply not make migration plans for production stuff depending on lowend providers you have never used before nor even read anything about.
your business and revenue relies to 100% on your online presence but your server costs are <5% of that revenue? -> your priorities are clearly wrong.
people spend hundreds of dollars for google ads and the likes. but hosting on a vserver for a tenner a month... best of luck I'd say.
I'm aware of that and I happened to own an hourly billed Hetzner Cloud VM.
It's not yet my APAC VPS's delivery date (assuming it's Florida's timezone) and I can wait a couples of days before my other VPS contract is over.
Thanks for the info anyway.
(Does HH's normal plan VMs get provisioned instantly though?)
Didn't try but I think so. My guess would be that they always have extra resources for potential "normal" customers and that the specials deals are a way to buy new hardware and expand their customer base.
I personally want to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they don't have the time and resources to provide any kind of VPS.
If they are able to provision new VPS yet delayed promotional VPS on purpose. That's pretty fked up.
You new here right?
Thats how LET work brother
If you did not satisfied what is offered and promised by the provider, then LET is not for you
Me too, waiting for my vps to get delivered well
But because this is LET i lowered my expectation, so even my vps get provisioned 2 or 3 month later thats no matter to me as long as keep the price same / recurring
So you will have vision now
Btw if anyone want to throw their last year BF deal vps
2GB ram plan for $15 anually or $30 bianually in any location (except East coast , USA) just let me know
seems like you are working for hh. could you please deal with my tk? my lax problem is still there.
I have ordered one normal VPS about a year ago, got it provisioned almost instantly. This was before the new control panel, cannot say about current state. You can try with cheapest plan $5 tho
tk domains can be registered here. Enjoy.
Nah. He's a volunteer whose only work is to defend providers and accuse buyers.

Solving problem is not his job
Thank you for being my personal secretary.
anyone knows if @hosthatch allows server transfer?
