  • 2 days without any comment? Everything already delivered or people started chargebacks?
Because I won't believe people paused complaining for Christmas, right? ;)

Mine were delivered . Just waiting for 31st for the next batch.

  • I still don’t have my storage node. They said the 23rd for those so, not super thrilled but trying to be patient

Chicago here, which was quoted as around the 15th. Now that we’re approaching two weeks beyond that date I’m starting to grow a bit frustrated. I was hoping to have the holiday break from work to sort some stuff out, seems HH has decided that isn’t in the cards.

  • Got my server some days ago!

What location is this? Guessing LA from the speedtest but just want to make sure.

I’d be shocked if they show up anytime soon. They don’t seem to have delivered the stuff estimated around the 15th yet and that all started late. I’d be really surprised if they were on time.

    Hi guys,

Sorry for the silence in the past few days. We've been dealing with a lot as you can imagine.

One of our shipments with hard drives that was supposed to get to EU on 8th December was delayed, and then returned to us in Tampa today because the shipping company wanted another "5 working days" to deliver it, after missing that for the first 2 tries,
hence the delay with Storage VM deliveries in Stockholm and Amsterdam.

These are the ETAs I can share with you for the moment.

    AMS/STO storage - 30th December
    LAX/CHI storage - 23rd December

Most of the NVMe servers that was promised on 15th Dec have been delivered or will be today.

If we failed to meet the delivery ETA for your server and you would like a full refund, please open a ticket and we will process it for you.

We'll make sure the billing starts 7-10 days AFTER your server is provisioned.

  • At this point I want what I paid for. But I don’t see myself renewing or buying any more from HostHatch. The delivered product may be great, but their slowness here is pretty bad. It would’ve been alleviated with better communication but they seem to have simply disappeared.

It is your fault for not reading a bit. The same thing happened last year. Many people who ordered knew they have to wait.

I guess you never heard of search engines. LET is quite visited by crawlers... but this must be too advanced for you.

It is their money. It is their responsibility to read. There is a search bar in LET; there are search engines online; they can even go on profile of provider (who starts the thread offer) and look in their previous offers to see complaints.

If you are too lazy... then yes, I am a dick. Now get out!

  • @hosthatch and @Emil any update on the current situation for all the users panicking?

  • Calm down guys

  • unfortunately, hosthatch seems to break its promise (see https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3350907/#Comment_3350907)

hosthatch refused to refund for delayed delivery:

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay. VPS has not been provisioned yet. We will update you as soon its provisioned. Your service date will also start when your order has been activated and we can assure of this.

Not panicking, just plain tired of being in the dark on what’s happening. We’re nearing 15 days beyond the estimate. Last update indicated things were coming with dates attached, those dates have since long passed and no updates. Their communication is lacking.

There’s no panicking from me, I haven’t disputed any charges and don’t plan to. Frustrated instead of panicking. I understand the pandemic has made acquiring hardware and shipping difficult, but as far as I’m aware the pandemic hasn’t prevented good communication.

I may be interested in transfer if its from flashsale 1TB/3 years plan in stockholm. Please get in touch for transfer if anyone else has the following and cant wait:

    //
    1 CPU core (fair share)
    1GB RAM
    1TB HDD storage
    4 TB monthly bandwidth
    $60 per 3 years
    //

  • those who wish to have refund from Stockholm flash sale, maybe its better to have HH facilitate a free transfer. im up for either a 500GB or 1TB.

Can't wait for provider? - Open ticket and ask for refund.
Won't trust the provider? - Open ticket and ask for refund.
You read the reviews too late (order still pending)? - Open ticket and ask for refund.

But whatever you do, before ordering read some reviews, watch some benchmarks, look at some previous offers and customer complaining or praising the provider, document yourself and ask yourself if you want that service. Don't just order because it's cheap, giving into the hype of the moment, especially if you are new and know nothing about a provider.

So people should listen to what other customers said previously instead of what's been promised in this discussion about this exact offer?

Hosthatch delivered late before therefore people have to assume they will deliver late all the time? Don't you think many simply gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusted them they'd improve this year. No?
If delivering late is fine as long as VPS are delivered, then what's the meaning of ETA?

All the dramas here reminds me of a Soviet joke

"I want to sign up for the waiting list for a car. How long is it?"
    "Precisely ten years from today."
    "Morning or evening?"
"Why, what difference does it make?"
"The plumber's due in the morning".

  • It seem reading is a difficult thing for LET user.. You can not do due diligent unless you are reading others review..
