Pulsed Media Value10G Seedboxes!!
Welcome THE Value10G series!
This offers the best MAX bandwidth and MAX storage for never seen before prices! Value at it's best. The lineup has been carefully designed to maximize the value for You as end user, and to maximize stable performance.
These have RAID0 4 drive storage arrays, with full 10Gbps networking, 6core Xeon CPUs and more than 1GB of RAM per TB of storage on each server. These are I/O VALUE KINGS. I/O is everything with Seedboxes. Even if you exceed your traffic limit @ 10Gbps you will have guaranteed 100Mbps minimum to internet and full 10Gbps on our internal network; Making sure that you can stream your videos, performance stays up and you can seed fast to other peers within our datacenter!
BIG Extra options available, UPTO 24TB of extra storage can be added on any of these, making the largest option as big as 40TB. Same goes for RAM and Traffic as well, you can add a lot if a specific resource is not enough for you.
Without further chit-chat check these out:
* V10G XS: 2TB Storage, 2GB Ram, 10Gbps, 4 000GiB External Traffic, Unlimited Internal Traffic: 4.99€ Per Month

That’s a bit fucking tempting.
Why no Plex?
Early Black Friday it seems.
Like SYS, just a new range. More discounts to come…
Plex disregards privacy AND requires dedicated IP per user raising the cost ~3€ per user these days (IPv4 addresses are like 50$ each to buy!)
LOL! Yeah kinda except this was planned REGULAR pricing. Tho we do not expect to have any discounts on this pricing for a while, we might be sold out in a week :O
Might not happen, see my above comment. Message is barely out and it's already selling like hot pancakes ... Now i wish (i decided the pricing) we priced it 50% higher ...

SSH forwarding, or NAT/IPv6, in general?
I guess one could do a hack like that too, but the privacy disregard from Plex (they think They own You and Your data) has been enough to shy away. Then comes the CPU requirements as well.
I guess we should still add the support, just with big cat sized letters warning about potential privacy issues i guess?
Before that comes emby + jellyfin tho, and i think in general we need to upgrade CPUs all around which can easily be 100k€ investment with everything counted in, so will not come first for these value offerings. Dragon-R already boasts AMD EPyC 32C CPUs and in practice for M10G you most likely get a Ryzen. Next step is to get the Xeon V2 CPUs for M10G / V10G tho, and remaining unbuilt Ryzen servers for M10G (7x 1U waiting to be built)
Do you mean unlimited incoming traffic?
Do these have better performance than regular auction servers?
No, well yes that too, but full 10Gbps on internal network always even if you exceed the limit. So from PM seedbox to seedbox always fast.
Well at least now as they are mostly empty. Shared servers it's always a bit random chance what kind of users your neighbours will be. Also depends on the series.
This plan has a setup fee & bandwidth is very low
Yeah, the bandwidth should atleast be 2x the size of the slot. It is a seedbox, ffs.
FWIW, YABS (no GB) from the old 6TB/1G deal, as well as the newer 16TB/10G deal:
6T/1G
16TB/10G
lo and behold, chia farmers galore! (on the new 10G node)
Do they all bet on Chia to rise?
Cause if I put in 14TB (which is roughly the 16TB plan), I get this:
Or do they just use their free space for Chia mining and the rest for the actual product?
Wouldn't they be better off just buying the coin? Smells like laundry in here.
From my observations across multiple services the mrfarmer account is for the latter. PM is just using the extra free space on nodes to gain extra value for under used resources. Normally the nodes I'm on stay around 2TB of free disk space, when users add more to their disk usage pushing the free disk under 2TB the mrfarmer account seams to offload plots to keep disk space free for user needs.
Wow, now that's what I call lowend. Kudos to PM I guess for squeezing every last bit out of their hardware.
At the same time I am not really sure what benefit 10 Gbit/s networking is supposed to bring when the disk speed is fairly limited to begin with and is then further reduced by chia farming on each node.
My experience was not good with this provider. Tried their services months ago. It was extremely buggy: I couldn't download anything as rTorrent kept crashing. A couple of days after I ask a refund but never got a reply. Ticket is still open:
Same here, rTorrent was basically non functional. It was fine for several months before this, very disappointing. Recently cancelled my box there, hope performance improves in the future.
Conversely, my experience has been largely excellent, across a budget and a premium plan.
I had a couple of issues related to weird storage usage but those were resolved quickly and without a ticket. rTorrent has been out a couple of times but not for long.
Man i wish there was a nextcloud that could be enabled on theses seedboxes, the service seems perfect for me, but I really need to be able to have a nextcloud as well.
So how would Jellyfin or Emby perform on the cheapest one?
after I placed my order, I noticed the traffic is actually 2000GB not 4000GB
good point, nextcloud can be very useful
do you offer traffic upgrades?
NVM mind, I checked the order page, the do.
That io looks sad
I had one of the entry seedboxes and loved it for several months. It was honestly a fantastic experience, but then after maybe 4 months or so, rtorrent became non functional, crashing every few minutes, also making the webui unusable. Maybe my node just got a noisy neighbor or something similar, since the service was wonderful before that. I gave it another few months to get fixed, but it never did.
Had this recently too and had to refund. rtorrent continuously crashed and the file viewer couldn't download a single file without locking the entire UI up. Ended up going back to USB.
I had this too. May be because of a noisy neighbour. Downloading speed is too much low. Speed is in kilobytes and if i delete a dowloaded torrent via webUI it remains in the storage then i have use filezilla or something to log via ftp and had to delete manually
my rutorrent has much more crashes than before, it also breaks my torrent added time.so annoying...
Can I ask for a smaller plan (about 200G storage is enough) with a nice yearly price for just data backup?
I was almost buying, until I read all your comments
