If you had been honest and transparent for the last 2+ months, people wouldn't need to speculate. In this period you have shut down all storage nodes, sold a subnet for 1000 customers (with no substitution) and even put all other servers in Romania offline for a week. And we shouldn't speculate of course. Because this is all normal.
It's not normal, my friend. It just isn't. You're not communicating with your paying customers at a normal level for 2+ months now. Every time you communicate you are at least twisting the truth. Saying things that oppose each other.
But now be honest, so we don't have to speculate:
Just asking these questions so that we don't have to speculate. As far as I'm concerned you're technically bankrupt and fighting for the future of your company. But I really understand people that think you're scamming them. Because everything goes offline without a single fucking word.
Wtf?
I mean with a good communication probably his PayPal account would still be active and all this drama would 1/4 of what it is.
It is not like he was not adviced in the past how bad his communication was, with WHMCs is so easy to send bulk e-mails to all clients with updates, it just take 1-2 minutes which for sure he had, Cociu himself made the situation worse.
"DMCA ignore" is in general understood as "ignores copyright notices", not specifically for the US law only.
@cociu finally you are responding here but you haven't given any timelines nothing, all services are nearly offline - when do you intend to restore service? next week? next month? never?
where is your plan of action for resolving all your issues? for renumbering the services? for doing the refunds you promised?
Please read 200 posts back.
Next Monday?
Why do you not answer the important questions, like the ones from @Francisco ?
Why do you not answer the important questions, like the ones from @Francisco ?
Here's the thing.
There's yet to be a single bit of proof of anything cucio has said, short of 'yes we are selling our IP blocks'. The only things that have been confirmed (be it the drives failing, be it ANYTHING), are things that the locals found out before he ever mentioned it.
He has 12k IP's somewhere? Great, what's the ASN? What's the blocks? The RIPE handle? Say something that's provably true that the locals don't already know.
The announcement history on his ASN shows he's never had 12k IP's announced under him. HE shows that his prefix count spiked only once, and it backed right back down.
Really, this is the easiest lay up of his life to show he isn't full of shit. Takes 2 seconds to write the ORG handle, the blocks, whatever. People will then quickly confirm if they're under his control (RIPE records, etc) and go from there.
By all means, shut me up. Prove me wrong. Easiest win of your life.
Francisco
What ever his responses or answers may be, like I have once said, if they don't add up, it's because the truth wasn't included in the equation
*insert witty comment here*I will be surprised if HostSolutions does come back.
@Francisco is getting worked up, so I wouldn't totally rule it out.
Makes no difference to me, simply pointing out he has yet to prove anything. There’s not been a single bit of evidence anywhere.
No screenshots from a SAN health output showing drive issues. No proof of extra IP blocks. No proof of the large drive orders.
Provide 1.
Francisco
@Francisco
I am still looking for proof about where I have said BuyVM is the CP capital of the world "or whatever".
any new deals yet
1 TB storage VPS
1 core weak CPU
1 GB RAM
0% uptime
€ 30 / yr
@Francisco is right, we've had more than enough blah blah, empty promises, etc.
@cociu give us facts, facts like working again nodes, facts like IP ranges of at least a combined /22 owned by you.
Why? Because you've lost all credibility.
Isn't even the promises at this point. If he showed proof of hardware failure, owned subnets, etc, then him missing delivery times due to lack of hardware, no inventory, etc, wouldn't be the end of the world.
I've yet to see a single thing he said (that no one pointed out before hand) that verifies the story so far. There's no proof of failed drives, no proof of his hidden IP allocations, no proof of new hardware orders.
Why are the NVMe servers offline? What IP's are those customers going to renumber to? Is their data safe or are they getting remade? If they're getting remade, why? Were the servers physically lost? What happened with Telia?
No one really believes he has this supposed 100gbit Telia port is sitting, getting paid for, but unused...right? The guys basically at the 'sell blood plasma to make rent'. Was the port on a 'trial period' and now the period is over?
Most of the people in this thread ragging on him (I included) are here because we don't see a lick of proof. He comes forward with undeniable proof? I'm pretty sure we'll all just go "What shitty luck" and walk off.
I said it in my first replies to him (in the 'tunnel' thread), just be honest.
Francisco
So, Francisco is getting into high gear, holy cow, we might see a revival.
HostSolution client panel not reachable.
So, cociu is about to bring our VPSs online again? How about that a__hole bringing his panel online again! Another "monday" project I guess ...
@cociu
Either get your site and panel to properly work as well as some customer VPS ... or just f_ck off!
My 188.213.49.x NVMe got it working after 2 reboots
First from VNC then CP
VPS came back online after this
Status update:
The panel seems to work again (temporarily?). 6 out of 9 systems seem to work (noVNC) but are not reachable due to 45 ... and 89 ... IP ranges not working in RO/not being BGP announced (but terrahost 89 .../24 works fine).
(P.S. potentially 7 out of 9 but I didn't even care to try my test VPS anymore)
How do you feel about being ignored?
Go suspend some customers under your fake name, this is what you can do - nothing else.
Let's see when prometeus under your involvement will be involucrated.
PS don't write that prometeus is 22 years old company, write tons of empty words that mean nothing, and be ignored anyway.
0 out of 9 system are working. The servers are not reachable after all. Is is like have 9 cars and not being able to use any one of them if you need a car.
A great and remarkable analogy!
