That most likely means you shouldn't have created the ticket in the first place in 90% of the cases, otherwise, it might mean we're waiting on Alipay or something else.

Ticket ID so I can confirm?

I guess some of us simply want more (stock) of these great offers (not more discount). :) The $6 offer in Piscataway was awesome. But some of us who don't keep F5'ing all day long may just see an "out of stock" error after noticing it, handling all the captchas and logins until final order confirmation. :)
Maybe you can convince your bot to throw in this deal a second time, @VirMach? ;)

  • @VirMach i want to ask, if i want to reinstall Ubuntu 18 or 20. I must install from mount iso, right? Last reinstallation template is Ubuntu 16

Yes, you must install from mount ISO.

Save the F5~ Just turn on notifications (see signature).

I don't think the $6.20 Piscataway one was even sold out before bot switched the offer.

This was very high quantity and the quantity wasn't even reached, it just means it ran out of time.

We only have Ubuntu 16 w/ desktop pre-installed. You could install it then apt remove ubuntu-desktop

Misread your entire message. You can mount ISO, and we should have Ubuntu 18/20 templates soon-ish.

  • @VirMach said: Everything's been a solid 50%~ off for the last 30 deals and all you want is that extra +10-15%?

Well... The bigger the discount, the better. :D

  • Could you offer any cheap Windows vps?

  • @VirMach any high storage deals coming up?

Thanks for clarification; then I simply came too late to join the party this time - maybe there's gonna be a second chance. :)

  • i'm grabbed $6.20 Piscataway but Piscataway looks awful optimized for my internet provider. Speed slow.

    Donate them!

  • @VirMach I just received the migrate info of last year's $1(1core, 100mb ram, 1GB Disk and 1GB BW). So I just try asking if you can enlarge its BW so I can keep it useful?
I can bear with everything but 1GB BW, it just made it not usable.

  • @dTQzBen8 just stop hoarding that 1GB disk so the VirBot can increase the offers to 10.00001GB SSD!

Well, you could transfer the deal to me and trade for something with less, haha. I've got some pretty good deals from years past but that was one I really wish I could've grabbed.

What do you consider high storage?

@samm said: Not in any hurry but just wanted to ask how long does it take to provision server if invoice is paid?

If it gets stuck, it could take days at this point due to the backlog but we're working on it. They tend to get stuck more if it's a deal that caused 524's or for the server to attempt to overfill.

@Yukinococo said: Could you offer any cheap Windows vps?

Windows has been disabled for now.

@dfroe said: Have you tested it before or compared with their NJ Looking Glass?

In my case connectivity was really great within US and to EU but as always YMMV depending on actual destination.

    Looking glass can be deceiving.

What ends up happening is that a specific subnet that's for Looking Glass may be routed bad for some and good for others. So the people who it is bad for, they just don't order. And the ones it is good for, they order, but then if it's bad they think we did some black magic to make the LG work better for them. Meanwhile, all the people who would have probably had it better than the LG did not order so it seems like it only goes one way when it's really just all up to your ISP and how they feel that week and if certain carriers are having issues with those specific routes that day.

@merlinvn said: Still don't know what to do with 6 ips from the $66.66 one

If anyone wants to return IPs maybe we'll work in a system where you can do that and get some additional discounts in the future.

Way too many people messaged me for this, and we already have 64 of these that are stuck in provisioning, so I haven't decided what to do here yet.

  • @VirMach Any new cheap deal in San Jose?

  • @VirMach said: If it gets stuck, it could take days

Not sure if it is stuck but service is showing pending and there is no server showing under server info.

  • I have a Windows box "pending" for about a week in LA. I'm sure they can see all the pending servers, so I'm just going to wait.

BTW anyone buy Windows licenses online? I see some Win10 and even Server licenses for < $20. I wonder if I'd have long-term issues with activation...

@VirMach any high storage deals coming up?

What do you consider high storage?

There are about 1,000 services still stuck at some stage of creation. This is relatively a small number, but nevertheless time-consuming to process. We're catching up pretty good today so far though. 100-200 people should have their services that were stuck from just today so far.
