Acting like a victim, when you were the one trying to convince people to buy 3yr deals over Skype is hilarious. The victim card does not fit you in this situation.
Makes me slightly pissed that merely denying everything and playing a victim would make it alright.
Who does he think we are? Idiots?
Does the snake-oil salesman not bear any of the responsibility of peddling the polished turd?
You knew full well what you were doing (especially since you're doing the same shit under your new business now), don't expect pity here.
I'm sorry you feel that way. No, the victims here are the clients. I worked in sales, sold a product for a company and did the best I could. I did not think this would happen or I would not have been involved, to begin with.
I regret ever selling anything for them and yes I accept that responsibility but I truly believed in his model and never expected any of this to happen.
Too late, dude. Too late.
If that was what you said in the first place, I might have displayed the benefit of doubt.
You claim to run a hosting business now. How exactly did you not understand that a $20/3yr deal will not last? You either knew exactly how long it will last, or you do not understand how hosting works. Not sure which option is worst for you.
Either way - good luck with your new adventure.
So how long it will take for @HostFlyte to get provider tag, given that they have active service with CC!
It wouldn't matter whether he has a tag or not. Even if he gets banned, he will be unbanned quickly.
From the start, the company appeared to be doing well from what I could see. I never really questioned the pricing or plans. I just believed in it because there were no issues with money or bills. The owner had experience and I was getting paid so in my eyes everything was ok.
Maybe you're right. I am not an expert like most of the providers on here. I'm learning. We all learn from our experiences and I have learned a novel worth from this experience.
Hindsight is 20/20, if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't be in this situation but you can't turn back the clock.
I am not going to apply for one. I know it will take some time for this community and customers to trust my business. I'm willing to "earn" my spot. This is my dream, to run a hosting business and be successful. I can't give up on it, I will only try even harder to make this possible.
Sounds like HostFlyte is the next iteration of OptimizedVPS/HiFormance shoveling shit VPS onto oversold hosts to Chinese eyeballs business model. It's also shocking how the timing of HostFlyte appearing on Chinese blogs coincides with HiFormance closing shop with absolutely no details / announcement.

So they always paid, but you went without income for many months in the end? Get lost.
Just leave LET, you're not getting the Provider tag and I don't think anyone believes you. Liar.
Also reported you so Mods can ban this profile @HostFlyte. Liar.
For the first 7-8 months of its life yes there was pay. From the final months, there was none.
One missed pay day and I'd be asking what the fuck. Many months and I'd be in court.
Not really adding up, especially why the payment PayPal is your personal account. Not sure where you're located but in many places that would be considered money laundering & the sales contract would lie with you personally if you were willingly and knowingly accepting the payment.
" The owner had experience and I was getting paid so in my eyes everything was ok."
You also mentioned "many months", and "in the end".
Stop lying. Get lost.
It was not my paypal accepting the payments. OptimizedVPS was a new brand started and used my paypal briefly for 2 months. It was then switched to use the hiformance paypal (which I do not own).
Any client that used the optimizedvps paypal while it was mine, I have been refunding 100%. Optimized didn't post here it was only a China provider and posted maybe 4 ads.
Blablabla, this guy smells.
Timeout! I need to head to the store for more popcorn!
Sadly it is not possible to check lowendbox posts, since LEB is experiencing some 404 at the moment. @CVPS_Chris swears you guys were working in this field for quite a long time; sadly I found no background info on the actual owner of the site (or you, or anyone else allegedly involved)
While this seems counter-intuitive given the way you were presented to LEB (and according to many details presented by @angstrom and @MasonR ), I'm sure it's the truth, we just don't have enough elements to appreciate your past career.
So, don't be shy! Nice house you have there. You reiterate that "the owner had experience". I don't know if the owner was Matt or someone else (the whois doesn't match), tell us more about him.
I just got a VPS on hiformance
it was a buffalo server
Planning to start using it
should I be worried or is it just LA servers?
I didn't get any announcements either !!
Leave.
Do you guys have any proof at all that Kyle knew that the company was doing bad things? Him being the sales manager doesn't mean he knows what the profit/loss margins are for the company. Use your head here, get out of your emotions and think logically. I get you want someone to blame, but blindly accusing because he was the face of the company (which you have to admit is smart on the owners part) is just ignorant.
Maybe he was involved, but maybe not. It's sad when you guys blast the guy without any proof as if you are an authority on the matter. I'm curious about how many of the people in this thread even had services with HiFormance.
I had 3 VPS in 3 datacenters (ATL, NY, LA) with these guys and "lost" (I'm smart enough to backup) all of my data, but I'm not going to blindly blame Kyle just because he was in the forefront and visible.
Doesn't need any proof at this point.
His stories don't add up. His changes of attitudes from playing a victim to being apologetic is no good as well.
And also note what @MikeET has stated.
All in all, he is simply taking over Hfuckedup's business. At the same time, I have no sympathy for the customers, either.

Interesting.
Yeah, I thought the same. With 5 whole visits since Sept 2016

I always sign up to websites and don't post anything for 2+ years, just to have an account ready to support my alter ego in trouble with my friendly smiling avatar
But I'm sure it's not the case of our friend here, it's just another exception to Ockham's Razor
Guys, we're jumping at this poor man's throat and we're not letting him explain! How rude of us
I've just seen that the first or second hit on google for "hostflyte" is this Chinese blog run by a banned LET individual praising CC and defending somehow this new brand (aff link code: "1")
Yep, I did the same in some previous posts (archiving via archive.is); some versions are available via archive.org too
