Would you use MXroute?
Hello, I'm starting to get a few clients so using free Zoho Business accounts is not really an option anymore. I need something solid that won't fail and get marked as spam. Have you had any issues with MXroute if you have used them? And is there any similar services within the price range?
Also, is there webmail? If so - what platform?

@jarland
MXroute is a solid service with great support.
It has RoundCube and some other webmail clients you can choose.
I am, have been for long.
Who wouldn't?!
It depends on how many mailboxes you need and your budget. I switched from Google Apps to MXRoute for some of our system mailboxes with the only issue so far being spam. With Google Apps the spam received was less than 10 e-mails per year, with MXRoute we're getting a few a week but I think they have some anti-spam options we could enable/tune but we don't want to filter out legitimate e-mails so we just accept the spam.
MXRoute is a brilliant service. @jarland has an offer in his signature that makes it really awesome value. The only thing they don't offer out of the box is activesync. I wrote a tutorial on how you can use an external VPS to enable it though.
I see. If one of my clients got one or more emails marked as spam that could easily result in big losses.
... Ok
He means incoming. My spam filters are terrible in comparison to Google's. I'm working on it, but I never seem to reach their level.
I use it now. It works perfectly well. If "OMG ANYTHING BLOCKED IS BAD" was a problem, I'd run my own MX, because obviously, nobody else would be capable of meeting my goals.
"Would you use MxRoute?" A: "I do use MxRoute."
Have been using MXRoute for a while now. Zero complaints. Also, @jarland is a very nice guy who really goes that extra mile to help you out whenever you need support.
Incoming spam is indeed higher than gmail, but this hasn't been a big problem for me.
You'll probably need one of the best machine learning teams in the world to get to their level
I would not use MXroute as I do not want a third party reading my mail or deciding which mail I will and will not receive. Running own mail servers solves both of these issues and gives peace of mind.
MXRoute works so well that @jarland hasn't even blocked my privmsgs yet.
What about outgoing? @jarland
I wouldn't use anything else now.
I use Mxroute for Piohost and have to say its better then what I was using with my host (before I moved our site to self-hosted on a VPS) plus I got the $40 a year deal which has 40GB can't go wrong there :P
None that I have noticed. Haven't tried sending spammy email through it, though.
Best outbound delivery quality that money can buy IMO. MailChannels all the way
I'm using MXRoute for my personal email, previously used FastMail, but $50/y always seemed a bit much. The spam filter is average at best, and I find the CPanel/WHM interface a bit confusing. But I've had zero issues and it's pretty cheap, so hey, I'm happy.
I would but I am afraid @jarland would sniff my mail and stop all my tentacle porn from coming through to me safely and unmolested. :P
I use MXroute, works amazingly for what I need!
Based on my experience in June of last year (2016) I would not use MXroute.
I was interested in signing up with mxroute to try it out as a replacemnt for the
email service provided by my current webhosting provider and I started by reading
the TOS at MXroute that I was required to agree to. The TOS page came up 404.
Ok mistakes happen so I used the contact form on the MXroute site to report the
problem. Submitting the contact form failed with an error. Ok so I emailed [email protected] directly detailing my experiences.
Never received a reply. At that point sadly I had to cross MXroute off my webhost
email provider possible replacement list even though its pricing seemed quite good.
Sorry you had a bad experience, but thanks for sharing. There was a stage where I had replaced the web design and failed to update the link in the billing software. I'm not aware of a time that the ticket form did not work, but who knows, been far too long to figure it out now. I try to read my email but, frankly, I do miss things from time to time.
If you ever change your mind, please open a pre-sales ticket first. I'm not charging nearly enough to read your email for you, and I'll need to make a custom package to make it worth my time.
I read @rm_ 's mail, since I own the often typo'd domain of "bestforum.com". You don't want to get the wrong email address messages, trust me!
Highly Vouch for MXRoute. I have moved most of my mail boxes from O365 to MXRoute. Would not go back....
I've been using mxroute in addition to yandex and g suite for a while now. I don't have any major complaints beyond that I don't think I get enough value out of it to justify paying for it. I literally get all of like 50 emails a year at my domain using mxroute, this obviously isn't a complaint against the service. I would use the g suite I pay for but google actually lacks features compared to mxroute, which is really funny.
I use MXRoute, its great. I hope they figure out a solution to that Gmail issue soon because 90% of the time if I send an email to a gmail it takes 10-15 minutes to show up.
I used to use Google Apps around a year ago and email would often go to spam, with MXRoute it always goes to INBOX
