I think that is the price for i3 processor, not for the E3...and these are all pre-tax prices so you'll have to add another 13% to it unless you live in Alberta
@zhuanyi
I live in SK tax is 10% :P
BudgetVM and RazorServers are popular, I think. BudgetVM ping is around 1 ms from my box at Quadranet DC.
lucky you other than the fact it is really cold there, LOL
Ooh.. how many you have to order to get it to 2yr contract, a full rack?
We also have an environmental fee here in Canada for electronics so the server may cost you $21/m but the environmental disposal fee maybe another $20/m (I'm exaggerating but not far from the truth)
@zhuanyi
Yes Regina cold but i like that :P
Im waiting for new DC to be build here from Fujitsu going to place servers ther Center canada!!
Yes sorry with the E3 it comes to $28/m for 48 months.. with HST comes to $31.64/m not sure how much for environmental disposal cost for a server.
If you remove the 500 GB 7.2K Drive you can safe yourself $240.. total with the E3 is only $19/m +HST+enviro
Wow...now that's start to become a good deal...may be time to start calling Peer1 for a colo quote:)
@earl we order the server without RAM and HDD
@zhuanyi
please dont use peer1 i had a phone talk with them and have to say ther price too much bettrer go and rent from OVH
yeah let me know maybe we can rent a 1/4 rack.. but I hate Toronto it's on front street right? you should check out 3z.ca they use to offer 1u for around $30 or $40 use to be the scratch telecom building in mississauga
Hmm.. unfortunately I can't remove the Ram from the options! but should still be okay 4GB I think they charge around $55..
WOW we getting 4X4GB for around 120$
not from them we buy separately
This has gone completely off topic... lol
This would be interesting if there was more EU offers.
Sorry bout that.. I'll shut up now!
Signed up for Calihop's offer, with more IPs and 4x HDs with RAID controller. Wouldn't have seen it otherwise without this thread, thanks for your effort @chriscm!
Wow, not bad.
@damian no problem im glad I can help!
GorillaServers also has $99 E3-1230 v2 offer.
+1 for this.
@dearroy link?
@Damian you like your Calihop?
@chriscm thank you so much for this man, really appreciated..
Haven't received it yet; they had to order in the RAID controller. Will be up and running later this week. Can't complain about the price, or the sales service. If the network and post-sales service is a good, I will be extremely happy, and will be purchasing from in the future.

@Damian I just talked to a guy on the phone over at Calihop, he also mentioned it would take a little to get the RAID card, but it's certainly an excellent deal. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to order you will have been able to test the network, etc.
@dearroy I believe it only has 16 GB of memory, 32 GB is +$40/month
I communicated with Joseph Manis, would recommend him as a point of contact.
@Damian He didn't say what his name was; just that he was not at this computer so was recalling pricing on some upgrades out of memory.
