What do you use Asian servers for?
I've got 3 servers from LES in Asia and no idea what to use them for other than vpn and development.
Vultr's tokyo location has a nice Download speed from USA though.

Just like server from another part of world.

Yeah, but if you're hosting sites for US and Western European visitors and I don't see the need for Asian servers.

I got those 3 servers from Inception Hosting's bundle, but I would have chosen from other locations if I could.

They have 3 predefined ISO, 2 linux live cd and 1 windows nt reset thingy.
also iPXE is working if you want to install certain OS that isn't listed on their panel. > I'm currently installing fedora 22 thru iPXE althou not sure if it'll work.

    Good info @lybxlpsv, thank you.

Ordered. Mainly because they have FeeBSD.

  • Anyone approved yet? Ordered one, had the call this morning and still nothing?

    I'm liking them so far.

    today 9.47 GiB | 747.49 MiB | 10.20 GiB | 101.76 Mbit/s

Ordered another 4 cores box :)

EDIT: it peaked at like 150 mbits . I didn't expect that with all the bs that's said about asia..

Where are you from? Are you planning to make use of them for vpn's?

This vps seems to currently cater to Singapore market as the speed to other locations seems to fail badly.

I don't see what you describe..

    From Australia ( using http://sg.joodle.nl/):

Normal speed test ( prove my connection is faster than the SG VPS):

Did you ask/open a ticket? I know in their US location you just open a ticket for IPv6 and they provide you with a /64.

I ordered one at 8PM CDT last night, got call around 10:30am CDT (hour before their sales office closed), but server was never provisioned.

Don't expect it to be up any time before ... I think it's 8AM CEST, but maybe 9AM.

Guess I'll take your word for it, wouldn't want promo to end before I picked up the XL version.

  • Leaseweb NOC have fixed the bad routes .

Confirmation: one of my ISPs (tata) picked up the updated route.

They did fix the routes for India

  • Serverius Amsterdam and online.net has correct routes.

No OVH location still has them (checked 4hrs ago) .

  • @rm_ said:

Seems they did for South Asia, latency is much better now from my home ISP. Ping is about 1/4th Previously was ~400 ms, now 100 ms or less. And I'm impressed with support response :)

Wow nice io! You can usually just get around 70-80MB/s on Leaseweb VPS plans, never seen it as high as yours :)
