XL VPS Benchmark:
Dediserve
Linode
Leaseweb
I'll update tomorrow comparison between Leaseweb, Linode and Dediserve from ServerBear.
serverbear benchmarks really slow, take ages to download from various location.
@budi1413, just ping and traceroute this sg.joodle.nl (similar routing symptoms you've experienced before right?)
Dedispec has better I/O

Is that on the new KVM platform in SG? I recall much better speeds.
Can anyone confirm if:
Thanks in advance
Nice, enjoy!
Terrible routes on these SG leaseweb vps.

Leaseweb SG dedicated servers have correct routing though. (tested against LES singapore)
Are you judged correctly, they treat Chinese people is strictly to distort
initial deposit of $1250 is required to process your order
>
yes KVM
I get free usage for October apparently as they do not charge prorate for the month of October.
They will charge it later, I guess.
I also thought so, so went to ask the support and they say their not charging prorate for oct. Although i wouldn't be surprise if they start charging it.
Except I am none of those Have already reached out to their sales team, hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

Looks like the bad routes are only when tracerouting TO the leaseweb SG vps.
They are fine FROM the leaseweb SG vps. My bad.
No call and no confirmation email, exept from Paypal.
Livechat: all fine, plz waitz. tssssssssssssssss
I do not know what they are thinking, through audit is not allowed, refund does not respond
Give them 1-2 day.
Serverbear for the XL if anyone wants.

Yeah, I sent support an email about 2 hours ago about calling. It's 2pm UTC now? Boggle.
still no call.
re: not being charged, as soon as I placed my order, I got hit with:
Your purchase
WSHRxxxxxxxxxxxxxx$9.36 SGD
it charged a full month (plus some strange 7% tax), for 'large', not pro rata at all
Leaseweb just called me and I asked them about the 7% tax, apparently that is the GST rate in Singapore (which is the Leaseweb company that is actually selling the product), and they should have something in the system to remove that which they didn't.
The lady advised me to contact administration AT leaseweb DOT com, quoting my order number, to have the tax removed/refunded.
I've sent my email, no response yet but I am really impressed with their response time so far so hopefully it won't take too long.
I get a phone call from leaseweb 30 minutes after order.
Network latency looks good from Indonesia, but slightly higher than digitalocean singapore (+6 ms difference).
Oh My GOD 6 ms. That sucks
ah.. thanks, just mailed administration also.
I still haven't gotten a call, myself.. The payment has already been removed from my paypal balance (not just an 'authorized'/pending charge anymore), for
$9.36 SGD at 20:10:40 CDT, over 13 hours ago.. (yeah, I've been awake all night)
Their business hours are over at 5:30 CEST, which is 75 minutes from now.... scratch
They are fine FROM the leaseweb SG vps. My bad.
The end result is bad ping and bad user experience anyway, so what are you apologizing?
I get 280ms from Hong Kong, compared to 37ms to DO SG or 33ms to Linode SG.
Aha, OK, now I got my call (think it was the email to administration). Not sure if I'll check the VPS out before I go to sleep or not though, hah. (also said they'd refund that 7%)
the speed not fast in some country
This vps seems to currently cater to Singapore market as the speed to other locations seems to fail badly.
They have 3 predefined ISO, 2 linux live cd and 1 windows nt reset thingy.
also iPXE is working if you want to install certain OS that isn't listed on their panel.
I'm currently installing fedora 22 thru iPXE althou not sure if it'll work.
No I don't. still no love for IPv6.
