offers are coming...though sgp ping to asia still doesn't look too good
I am a happy man.
Confirmation that they are going to fix the GDrive Issue.

I guess this translates to;

it will be done in a few hours?
Just for the record Google's internal routing has increased latency at the moment. Not sure if that's just in Australia though.
yeah, i heard about this but.
Tracing route to drive.google.com [172.217.25.174]

Trace complete.
Receiving 50ms personally and 250ms on the server with uploads (before they "OVH" turned slow) of 5Gb taking upto 4 hours to upload.
OVH started delivering the servers already, just got mine after such a long wait.
And the new 10G IX is up.
Which IX?
No idea, you'll have to get in contact with OVH unless Fabien tells me when he reply's. I believe their having an issue with it now though ;(
If I traceroute netflix, it goes over ovh network. No mention of telstra. But OVH really need to get some vocus peering.

When we activated the port, we encountered a problem related to a non-standard configuration on our side. The problem was corrected at 11:49. This may have caused some routing problems on sydney.
Does this mean, "This may have caused some routing problems on sydney." That they are aware of the routing issues and this 10Gb IX is suppose to fix it?
On top of this the support task, says " Equinix IX, SYD, Australia"
Maybe its http://www.equinix.com.au/resources/data-sheets/equinix-internet-exchange/
Guess we gotta wait and see.
It'll be Equinix IX then. Hope they connect to MegaIX too.
You got your server at SG? Care to run a benchmark - https://bench.sh/ ?
"We had to perform some operations on the g1 / g2 cores so that g1 could learn the routes of Equinix IX. "
IT LIVES.
Yea I got one in SG.
Running Proxmox ZFS template from OVH.
Test from NZ going over equinix
Testing download speed................................................................................
Download: 30.13 Mbit/s
Testing upload speed....................................................................................................
Upload: 4.42 Mbit/s
Looking much better
Great news, any information regarding free month they offer ?
Finally got my SG server. Results of a couple of benchmarks -
https://bench.sh/

Got mine just now, wonderful
you guys are lucky, I'm still waiting for my SG one.
guess I need to push them
Is it just me, or is the latency to the OVH Singapore servers beyond terrible? We're having people reporting 200ms from all over Asia pacific region.
I personally tested ping+mtr from Tokyo, Sydney and another SG server and the latency between the servers was ~200ms to me as well.
It currently routes back to Montreal then back to Singapore. The only area that goes directly to the Singapore network is in Malaysia right now.
Yeah, it's pretty horrible lol. That one above is from Vultr SG server to OVH SG server.
And this one is from Sydney.
And this one from Tokyo
WTF? VN (AS24086) -> JP -> US -> CA -> SGP
Oh man its being long since i receive such an answer from support XD.
Either i am getting scammed or this Danny don't know what his talking about.
I got the SG server btw.
Good ole Danny from OVH. He is very agressive at customer service
Mm,

From Sydney.

Rofl.
yep looks like if you live in SGP or Australia or something you go to LAX -> New Jersey -> Montreal, Canada (BHS) -> LAX -> SGP
I assume they're already working on that, as that's not really ideal
