My bench got stuck at Leaseweb NL and then server timed out. I've said it and saying it again, something is wrong somewhere.

    Which node are you on?

lnr1ovz06, I doubt it's the node, I think it's the entire network. It's fine at day time (US time) and bad at night.

It is definitely worth the money.

If you're noticing any issues with the network, simply open a ticket and they'll sort it out. Their support is pretty good.

Ehh whatever, the box is mostly idle anyways and I have no need for Europe traffic at all. Maybe I'll connect it to koding, who knows.

  • I'm using mine as a remote desktop (Xfce and Xrdp). It's a little slow (slow ping from the UK is 108ms) but it works well

  • How do you tell which node the server is on? I can't find it in my billing panel and I feel like I'm blind.

  • Login to SolusVM.

  • Dacentec is doing a dam fine job of making it hard to not get one of these, every time they go out of stock I feel relief that the temptation is gone but boom they keep showing back up.

    Bought their annual 512MB plan.

Like the provision process, easy and fast.

  • Bought one myself and paid annually. Great price, and fast support turnaround! :)

They are using ploop (at least on my node) so I guess that the dd results are not really significant or useful. However, mine still feels nice and snappy even though I am in Europe.

  • Yes, I'm in Europe too and must say they're very snappy :]

  • Anyone here also on lnr1ovz07 node? May I know whether the time is correct? My VPS is 4 hours behind the actual time.

Have open ticket to support, said that the time actually correct on the server and tell me to adjust by myself on the VZ. May I know how to do that?

    Thanks..

  • The time is not correct. I have submitted a ticket and it was escalated to vps admins according to the ticket. I've asked for ntp sync on the 07 node. I hope that helps :)

@sonic : The time is the one not correct, not time zone.

@cdrive : seems you're on the same node with me.. let's wait for the respond then..

  • I've just checked and it is synced now to the minute and second. Perhaps you may want to check yours now? As usual, great and fast response from support! :)

  • @cdrive : I can confirm the time is now correct too on my VPS. Just wondering why the support staff insist the time was correct while your support staff say was not and escalated the ticket.. :-)

Anyway overall very satisfy with this VPS..

An error occurred processing your request. The host is currently unavailable. Please try again later at SolusVM (ovz3) @dacentec :P i know its for only 2 usd so i not want more for this price lol btw all good now 0.0

  • Good value for money, unfortunately it is very slow to connect from my Chinese ISP. I was trying to use it as a private proxy but did not work well for this purpose.

Usually LA is the best US location for using VPS as private proxy in China.
