After this operation, 57.4 MB disk space will be freed.
@Damian said: The 20gb/month was mostly because we were uncertain how popular this plan would be. We'll most likely end up bumping it up to 50gb/month later.
do we need to open ticket after a month? or will you bump all subscription to this automatically?
I snagged one. I installed Debian 6 32-bit. It works fine, but I did have one problem.
When running "dpkg-reconfigure locales" it runs out of memory and dies trying to generate en_US.UTF-8. It was able to generate en_US.ISO-8859-15, so I used that, but is there a workaround? I logged into the console and shut off all services, but it still wouldn't run.
Okay i just tested this with ubuntu 10.04 and cent os 6 ( both 32 bit)
ubuntu : apt-get update and upgrade works without any hiccups
centos : I am surprised that yum update works with 32 MB memory. ( with plugins=0 of course)
i was able to optimise the vps until 2.64MB RAM on centos. didnt bother that with ubuntu
Then i tried to install openvpn. everything went fine, except that faced a iptables issue. most probably it is the kernel of the openvz node. i hear that it takes some extra work on the server side. i didnt get any errors, but solus was like 85% memory, 100% swap usage, so i stopped the game halfway.
a well behaving server for the price.. hats off ipxcore. Would be better if can solve the openvpn issue thanks anyway for the great offer.... will keep it as long as it is offered.

apt-get install locales-all will install pregenerated locales - but the trade-off is that it'll install a bunch that you don't need, taking up more the disk space.

Wordpress will suck your RAM with any traffic
Seems that the IPs have problems with Google - using the VPN, Google says that they have receive suspicious traffic.
On their site? Or how are they saying this?
yup. Just open google and try to search something... want a VPN user from my VPS?
I have no use or need fot this, and already have a (not so) low end 96mb box from IPXCore.
...Bought it anyway. Came to exactly £1.99 for 6 months :-)
I'm not in a position to VPN at the moment. How about a screenshot?

@netomx: Thanks, I'll look into it. Do you have to do the captcha every time, or once you've done it, you don't have to do it again?
Maxmind recognizes my VPS IP as Chinese.
this. But if I close the tab and open a new one, this will pop. Just for Google US; Google Mexico didn't complain.
1.82 MB of 32 MB Used / 30.18 MB Free
(from solus, logging in pushes it above 2)
hey @Damian any chance to enable FUSE module?
Sure. You're the first person to request it, so i'll get to work on setting it up.
want to try to use Truecrypt
@Damian
If it is a lot of trouble, don't do it, I can tar with password
bought 2. thanks damian!
Bought 1. Lets go hardcore lowend
@Damian do you get any profit from this? (In money, not in happy LETters?)
@netomx here are some more commands to clean up APT: https://raymii.org/cms/p_Debian_packages_cleanup_commands
And this helps also:
If set traffic to 50GB or more, things will looks like so good, 20GB is too less.

Nice offer.. Made me spend for an LEB again .;)
Bought one...

I get the same issue. I put in a ticket to switch vSwap to burst, maybe that'll do something. Guess we'll find out!
