Is the altitude too low that's why it was shot?
This is really sad, 2014 -- year of tragedy...
Because an airtraffic control in Ukraine did not keep contact with the plane, the plane could have been easily mistook for a russian military plane (same size, colours, speed and altitude) since was coming from amsterdam and the russians/chechens brought their air-traffic control towers from moscow and knew exactly what flies there, with or without the vodka.
Besides, Ukrainian forces brought down numerous russian planes in the area, military or civilian before, they have a big interest in killing civilians to prove how efficient they are in aerial combat, it is only natural to think it was them if you are a russian which only watches RT.
Its time to introduce US soldiers in Eastern Ukraine to bring peace.
They are neutrals and can behave themselves in a good manner.

Probably they wanted to save gas. That's why they didn't care about people's lives.

So they knew there will be a crash and what plane, what company, what model, before it happened, gee, some serious seers they have, but that is not new, they did experiments since the soviet union times, maybe now they have results.
Even if that is so, many of my files on cameras and even computer are since 1970 or 2000 even if they were made last year.
That being said, I never trust voice only, too easy to fake even though, in this case it is much more probable than intercepting some foreign officials because the mobile phone infrastructure in ukraine was not taken over by the russians and they are probably not using the satellite or special communication equipments out of laziness or because they are expensive and hard to carry along all over, especially in a precipitated field trip to boast about an antonov plane disguised as a civilian one they managed to shut down.
