The Amsterdam server has been down for 3 days. I have tried reinstalling the operating system, but it keeps failing with an error.
I contacted support via chat 2 days ago. They are reading my messages, but I still haven't received any reply.

My monitoring shows VPS back online, also the traffic to the VPS is from constant 5Mbps down to practically zero. This time, outage/attack lasted 25 hours.

Given the massive oversell, the prospects of the company rising from the dead are virtually zero
There is an ongoing DDoS attack in the DC1 in AMS, which overwhelms DeluxHost for almost a month now, starting on June 6th. All VPS were offline for two weeks, then online for 4 days and now offline again. Don't expect that you server becomes usable in the next weeks.
Current update/status on these plans
Turn on your brain and think — who stands to gain from a senseless DDoS attack on a low-end company with zero benefit, given the cost of the attack resources
I mean, plenty of bad actors attack stuff for shits and giggles or testing but for it to be going on this long either something is afoot or someone has a grudge
Nobody squanders resources just for kicks, and a botnet isn't cheap at all.

I've dealt with a lot of bad services, but this takes the cake. If there was a competition for who can screw things up the most, you wouldn't just win — you'd be permanently enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
One thing I noticed when we first got back online after the first lengthy attack was that the filter had been tightened and was blocking IPs in XBL (Ik as one of my NAT VPSes was temporarily listed there due to a shitty neighbour and was blocked from connecting/pinging the delux node). Was this filter disabled after things seemed fine or did they just find another way around it?
