Yes, it generate traffic and SEO, but it's a side effect of the interactions.

    That's exactly how SEO works. You should be afraid of this initial boost because once the algorithm rectifies itself, it will penalise the entity heavily.

    The more you get boost, the more negative review from LET comes in, more penalization when the algo does adjustment.

    This is a worrying sign for you.

    This does not. I'm just having honest conversation responding to comments and question. The rest are doing all the work. The algo will do what it does. It doesn't matter really. Just because it's many against 1, does not ever mean the many are correct. Often its quite the opposite. This mass effect is collective behavior, does not mean it's correct.     Positive or negative, the SEO rectifies itself after a while when it sees a trend. I can see Google putting more emphasis on trust pilot now, but if parameter changes to LET, it will penalize heavily until it again rectifies itself to bring it again towards some what positive.

Yes, you worry about your reputation, almost every business does. But your incident handling is shit. Instead of clarifying properly and respectfully, you chose to throw fucking thermite into a small campfire, causing an all out forest fire. Now you cant handle the backlash?

    Stop talking about privacy, as you allready fucked this up, you go through your customers data, there is no going back from this statement. Dont care about the reason why you do this. This is a huge break of trust. I dont know if you can comprehend how big of a fucking deal this is.

    You are acting like you are the victim here, to be honest you fucked up so hard, that being the victim is the only role left you can publicly take. The greatest part of LET is the tight community as well as the moderation here, allowing us to communicate as open as possible. And yes, this means that there is the possibility of a shitstorm. If you cant handle that, you should not provoke the members here with arrogant statements.

    Now, there are two possibilities left: You continue acting like a spoiled brat, that has only received an Audi instead of a Bugatti for his super sweet sixteen, or you take responsibility, apollogize, move on and let bigons be bigons, so this drama can be gone.

    As for @bdspice.. Mate.. Next time just use something like rclone to encrypt your data.

    Because you haven’t apologized to the community for snooping and haven’t promised to never do it again. Also your AUP is absurd to use as an excuse to terminate service if anyone says anything negative.
