Just placed an order on the smallest package (4.3 USD/m no commitment). With 4 vCPU and 6 GB of ram. So insaneeeeeee. No way this is possible. Waiting for actual delivery to check on CPU performance. Support said they use EPYC Gen3 (Milan) so this is killer deal

If EPYC Gen3 milan, I wish high ram vps

I also bought some of them... Disk speed is the same for all plans, so quite low, sadly.

  • @HostDZire said:
    Hello,

If anyone wants to order, they can order through us, we can provide additional 10% discount.

    We are their reseller :)

Can you sell some storage servers from them?

  • No IPv6 as per their Chat. Disk speed was always 'low' on Leaseweb.. but limited and guaranteed to each VPS. Yet far from not usable and I am yet to see benchmarkers from LET to report they had bottleneck because of disk speed is X and not Y.

Still.. not too much usable for me without IPv6, maybe good as single tenant/client/website environment(s) as resource:price ratio is still really good

  • Leaseweb offers B2B (Business-to-business) services, which means that we are unable to proceed with accounts for personal use.

@Zerpy do they provide /64 with each VPS ?

Probably not, but I also don't use such fancy technologies such as IPv6.

Says the man who is connecting to this site via IPv6 :joy:

  • Well, actually I can’t pass the KYC because they only offer business account LOL

Leaseweb only sells to businesses. You need to provide business details.

True, very hard tp pass their KYC.

  • I have 10 yr old NL account (Dec. 2014), just ordered Frankfurt VPS, got created new DE account, VPS provisioned without issues. It seems they reject new personal accounts but if you have old one it works.. (?)

  • Oh, 1 thing, they always increase their price every year, thats the reason why I left them, iirc.

    Yes.
I mean, I stay with them until the point where the product is no longer competitive anymore, found better deal elsewhere.

So it's a yearly thing, I think I'll go with monthly billing then.

Honest question, why is bandwitch so expensive in Singapore and why are people so crazy about servers there?

Not sure about why but it is ridiculously expensive here in Asia Pacific, and providers here use very old and outdated hardware, unlike in EU or USA.

Edit: Also they charge us much more for inferior hardware and less data transfer :)
