My servers are all online (Sweden, Austria, Russia & Netherlands) though with network unstability (except Russia).
It's wild that a host like Aeza is just misleading everyone by using Hetzner.
Transatlantic backhauling, M247 would be wet at this point.
I've just got 1euro/m kvm in Sweden, auto provision with 4G memory, snappy, what's the fuss about, I just don't care to know.
Then why are you here, reading?
Bruh moment
My Swedish Aéza IP now pings at 1,2 ms RTT from Frankfurt, and 25,1 ms RTT from Tällberg.
20,8 from Helsinki.
My Swedish Aéza vps belongs to hetzner, DE., which is great.
So the supposedly .se Aeza servers aren't even with relatively close Hetzner .fi, but with Hetzner .de?
what about hetzner . se?
There's no such thing
https://docs.hetzner.com/cloud/general/locations/
They probably migrated them. Hetzner Germany can't have 14ms to Tallberg Sweden.
Interesting that they put all the locations in "".
Also interesting that there’s nothing Swedish about the Swedish VPS anymore😆
Well, there's still fake .se RIPE entry :P

Thanks! That's something I guess!

@jh_aurologic you're in Sweden now?
Yes, we operate out of the Qurium Pionen Cage, invisible of course ;-)
Oh sorry, mislead, it's not a cage, it's the 10U they operate rubbish G6 HP servers from - you know, NGO has no money and needs to harras everyone they think there's something bad going
you get such requests from ngos? i'm not surprised.
Surprise Surprise, I wont accept such entities spreading non-sense as a customer, not worth my time dealing with guys being unable to write proper abuse complaints or send them at all.
I had a excitingly worrying discussion recently with Tord Lundstrom, who seems to be the Qurium guy behind all that rumors going. Correctiv has no clue, they are just relaying what Qurium wrote, as it reads so nicely, gaining them extra €€€€.
He sent us an abuse email, with a DNS not pointing on our customers network, telling us that this must be running on the customer infrastructure. Hmm, why would you do that?
His evidence that it does, was a screenshot of a fake website, DNS didnt resolve there - it went to another VPS provider in the Netherlands, which has of course no connection with the related entities they made a whole article about.
Interesting, isnt it?
Up on requesting more evidence, he couldnt provide such. He also told me, that he did never contact any of our customer(s). Now think about it twice, they probably also never contacted the relevant entities when they found the so said 'Doppelgaenger' "infrastructure", which is highly probably just a bunch of VPS being automatically rented. As we all know, these providers are providing VPS automatically - everyone can rent a server 24x7 without KYC and start putting a website live. No one will know until abuse arrives, how should they do? Sniffing customer traffic is illegal and I suspect no one has the time and capabilities to do this on purpose.
I expected something like that. He seems to have a personal issue with those entities or eastern european people in general. I'd be careful what they wrote initially, the whole thing stinks a lot.
Aeza think the location of the VPS is just for marketing
My Swedish VPS is now very German too.
He no longer enjoys fish for breakfast.
As always, but this time without another point of failure in between.
(tunneling to Sweden to make it look like it's hosted in Sweden)
I think it was in Finland before, but I'm not sure.
In short, I wouldn't rent a more expensive product from them with this kind of practice.
They seem to be very flexible with the truth.
7ms to Sweden, now around 25+ ms to uplink in Frankfurt transit from our friend at Aurologic.
Musical servers. This is like William's wet dream. No one knows quite where the servers are. Maybe they got kicked from Hetzner.
it also applies to servers: no border (no nation blabla)
their telegram is a clusterf
