Same for me with a storage VPS. Had to manually add the key. Compute VPS were ok.
Yep, the recently introduced SSH keys feature does not play well with the Storage VMs. We did not want to delay the delivery of these VMs any further, but are working on getting the SSH key management for them resolved.
Hello! I purchased a storage server in Singapore during the anniversary sale, and it still isn't operational. A few days ago, you mentioned it would be resolved in 48 hours, and yesterday, you indicated it would start working, but it seems that has not happened yet. Could you please let me know how much longer this might take? I appreciate your help and understanding. Thank you!@hosthatch
Just got my singapore storage VM
bugger, late to the party. Need a good VPS in Australia.
On 28th they’re going to throw more stock up where they have capacity etc, so keep an eye out for that

I got their Christmas/NY offer in Jan in Sydney and it’s been rock solid.
Can I still buy it?
4 CPU cores (1 dedicated core, 3 fairly shared cores) ROME/MILAN
8 GB RAM
100 GB NVMe storage
10 TB premium bandwidth
$55 per year
(1.5X RAM, storage, and double bandwidth for 3 year payments)
If you need this, you can pay in 3 years
Not sure if there will be a promotion meanwhile but you can hope for a similar deal on the upcoming Black Friday in November.
OK, thanks
Is anyone else still waiting on delivery of storage VM? I know there were delays but hadn't seen updates in a while
Please open a ticket and we'll get it fixed. No pending deliveries afaik.'

We have some Sydney storage deals, but not very LE pricing. As you may know, Sydney is an expensive location to operate out of and afaik, there are no alternate storage providers in the region.

They are RAID-10, and come with a 20GB NVMe OS disk. Only a small quantity available, and will go out of stock after 48h.
Thanks for the quick reply @hosthatch I opened ticket 115199.
Thanks
Received now, thanks!
No Singapore ?
Anyone else getting their credit card ready for tomorrow?
Will NVMe plans be restocked?
I have this 5TB storage VPS and I wonder what others show HDD IO.
Please, let me know if this spec is normal:
SYD STORAGE BONER TIME
I seem to have missed the storage server promotion...I've always wanted a 5TB one
MOARRRRRRR
They're doing a 24 hour flash sale today, so let's see what happens!
Not much of a flash sale in the sense that there won't be any crazy deals
Will post a thread in about ~7 hours from now. So 10 AM Eastern Time.
A single HDD disk is about 100 IOPS - so yes, that does look ok for a HDD disk. The only place where you will find better "HDD storage VPS" benchmarks is where there is cache in front of the HDD array. The disks are also likely getting hammered though as people migrate their data over from the old RAID50/60 nodes to these ones, so it will eventually get slightly better.
To sum up though, there's nothing wrong with this benchmark from our POV. If you need better disk performance, we sell NVMe Compute VMs.
these are RAID10, right? I just ordered one, thanks for bringing storage to SYD
Indeed, anything we offer going forward is RAID10
Looks like deals are popping up at https://cloud.hosthatch.com/sale/current-promotions
I have a 1TB in Stockholm, seems to perform a lot better.
The deals in the original post are now live. The exception is that storage deals in Amsterdam and Singapore are not available. Any future storage VM we will sell will be the new version - with a 20GB NVMe disk for OS + RAID10 HDD.
However, storage deals are available in Sydney and Hong Kong. Both of them come with a 20GB NVMe disk for OS + RAID10 HDD.
All of these deals will be out of stock after 24 hours.
Beware, if you don’t want a solid performance server with cheap price (also no AI data center)
Do not buy
If I pay for a year and want later want to upgrade in the middle of the year, how will that work?
