default debian12 not allowing ssh.
after reinstalling: password authentication disabled.
webVNC don't have clipboard function, and i cannot type correct passwd
now i have to mount debian11 iso and install manually
this is quite annoying. please fix sshd config of your debian template!

Why do you need clipboard function for those few words? How hard is to type manually:
nano /etc/ssh/sshd_configto put "#" before "PubkeyAuthentication yes"?And then

Waiting on an LA storage but not worried about that. They did say a few days ago there was a bit of a delay.
Unsure if they use a different config across VPS, but I did deploy Debian 12 to a compute VPS within the last fortnight and that worked just fine. That was with an SSH key.
If a server is exposed to the internet, that's the only responsible choice.
It's so HARD for me to type the password manually.
the first reinstall gave me password containing I and l. So I think it's my fault not typing correctly and reinstalled again. But the second password won't let me login, again.
I cannot say it's 100% noVNC issue or some weird shit but meh... I gave up and mounted debian11 ISO...
Maybe I'm just too dumb to type the passwd correctly. Who knows :P
be patient :-) bugs are expected so it's not a bad thing waiting a bit more
a friend of mine got his LA storage 7days+ ago. ipv6 was unusable then but i believe hosthatch had already got things sorted out.
Can use an auto typer to send key strokes. Most password manager like KeePasshave that functionality.

Sorry for the delay on the storage VMs - they should be provisioned soon (by the end of this week). We're updating our OS library, which are showing challenges with Storage nodes particularly.

Not yet unfortunately. Only US based locations have that. We will roll it out to all locations in the coming months.

Just got my chicago server, seems that setting SSH key on install doesnt work, however, I was able to login with the provided root password. I guess it's not adding the key @hosthatch
