@hosthatch, two VPS were ordered in different locations 2 days ago. The servers have been unavailable since they were received - neither rebooting nor reinstalling the OS helped. No one responds to ticket #582630 with the Urgent sign. Is this normal for the HostHatch?

    Did you read this part?

@hosthatch said: Are there any other differences between our normal and discounted plans?
Yes, primarily our support. It can take several days to resolve issues, especially issues that require complex investigation. Please choose one of the services from hosthatch.com directly for production usage, with access to our normal support queue. Our promotional services are provided at near-cost pricing to fill up excess capacity and should be used accordingly. We also do not offer location migrations and/or other flexibilities on these

    plans.

The last IPv6 issue I had in Stockholm was in August 2023 according to my ticket history. After that it is working fine both on storage and NVMe VPSes.

Here is yabs network test taken just now (from Epyc/NVMe):

I assume so, since it’s broken globally, across all providers.

Are you sure about this? :)

Please open a ticket and we'll take a look. We do not have any ongoing outages.

    It works!
From my observations, it's often an issue with the new subnet they assign to the client.
They give me a subnet, it does not work no matter what I do. I open a ticket. It takes some week or so for Emil to finally respond. He does his magic at their end whatever it is. And since then the current IPv6 subnet more or less works.
The exception was IPv6 in Austria. IPv6 issues there were really really bad.
I hope that the new subnet they assigned recently to the clients will solve those unexplained outages. So far so good.
Anyway, yes IPv6 at .se works. Not always out of the box, but once Emil (he seems to know what's the issue at their end) responds and do his magic it will be fine.

It seems http://lg.sto.hosthatch.com/ still uses the old prefix then? The shown IPv6 seems not reachable and mtr6 from the LG don't work.

Thanks for pointing that out. It was indeed an old prefix, and has been updated.

11th April was our 13th year in business :)

We will do some promotions on/around 25th April. Working on some more important things at the moment (BGP communities for downstream customers, ticket system changes, etc, for example). We also have a separate ongoing complete rewrite of our frontend, which adds a lot of overdue features (such as bandwidth sharing)

In the meantime, here's a picture of me and Emil having a drink (or 4..) while discussing some exciting new plans for the future, as well as celebrating the last 13 years.
